Although this reservation was booked spontaneously, we ended up having a magnificent time kicking off our summer at The Cozy Cove. We love Wellsboro and the surrounding areas, and this campground is at the heart of it all. There is a walking path at the far end of the campground that takes you directly to the Leonard Harrison state park in under a mile where you can enjoy both world class trail systems and world class views.
The cabin itself was clean and incredibly cozy. With two adults, two young children and two small pugs, we never once felt crowded. This area of Pennsylvania is incredibly close to my heart and is truly an amazing place, it seems as though the new ownership understands that. With downtown Wellsboro less than a 20 min drive and a few local country stores and ice cream shops right around the corner, we had everything we needed.
We will stay again next time we need a break from reality and a reminder of how healing nature can be.
