Deceptive listing, unsafe neighborhood (can’t park safely in the garage since there are people living there) and nonresponsive host when I was upset about no toilet paper. Two stars since it was cheap for a three bedroom.(Host has people living in the garage with a very thin wall between and after host refused to respond to my complaint and request for partial refund, VRBO verified and refunded me some money for the inaccurate listing, host then changed the listing to pretend there’s a separate “unit” in the backyard, which is still deceptive. Beware: bring everything you might need. The final straw was host claiming I should’ve known toilet paper would not be provided even though toilet paper is clearly listed as one of the amenities. She actually said this to me in writing and this is what had VRBO give us a future credit in hopes of a better future stay with a different place.)

As a host, I was always willing to address each and every one of your multiple concerns. I regret that your experience was not what you expected; however, it is important to clarify a few points you mentioned for future guests. The property is located in a safe, residential neighborhood. The garage is for the exclusive use of guests, so it is unclear what your comment in this regard refers to. Some of your main concerns were the lack of unlimited toilet paper and bottled water. Regarding toilet paper, an initial complimentary supply is provided for the day of arrival. As for the bottled water you also requested during your stay, although it is not included among our services, I still chose to provide some bottles as a courtesy. That said, one concern remains that invites reflection: if the stay felt so unsafe and unsatisfactory, it is curious that you chose to remain until the last day without requesting a cancellation from the beginning. As a final recommendation, Mrs. Flora, please remember to bring your essential supplies for future stays.
