Beautiful and Relaxing

Pictures do not do justice for this property! Upon walking in Jake left a beautiful welcome message that instantly made our family feel welcomed. Enough space for our whole family to be comfortable and every kitchen gadget available to make the stay great! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and very close to a Walmart if needed. When we visit Houston again will definitely stay again!

I've listed pros & cons below:PROS- Jake was a fantastic host and any questions were responded to within minutes.- Home was spacious and the open concept between the kitchen and living room was really nice.- Backyard was perfect for family gatherings with plenty of seating and was also a great place to just relax. - Home was located in a quiet, lovely neighborhood.- Fenced in yard was perfect for traveling with a pet.- Home was clean, with one exception listed below.- Lighting was really cozy and the home was tastefully decorated.- Home was appointed with modern amenities.- Welcome binder was delightful and helpful.- Check-in & check-out were a breeze.- Furniture was very comfortable.- Every room had more than enough outlets and usb ports.CONS- No vacuum is provided.- Every single window was dirty.- Windows in both bathrooms do not have blinds, shades, or curtains and one could easily see inside when you're standing at the sink.- Master bed frame was extremely creaky and made it difficult to sleep.- Washing machine left stains on our lights & whites, ruining a shirt with sentimental value.- Every clock had the wrong time. Was able to change the time on the stove and microwave but not the large clock above the living room tv or atomic clock in the master bathroom.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Any cons I've listed can easily be corrected for future stays. That said, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Originally from New Orleans, I moved to Houston in 2020. I enjoy interior design, construction and the hospitality industry. Short term rentals has been a passion of mine for a long time and I am finally able to fulfill that passion.

Why they chose this property

This property was my home since 2020 and I have enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the convenience of where it is located. It seems to be the perfect distance from everything, close enough to the city, yet far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Three minute drive to Walmart and HEB allows for quick and convenient shopping. And many events and activities in The Woodlands, which is only a 10-15 minute drive.

What makes this property unique

Because I was born and raised in New Orleans, I wanted to bring the culture and charm of New Orleans to Texas. The house captures the character and uniqueness of Louisiana that I love so much, and I hope will intrigue and relax guest with its southern charm.
