A wonderful location for June Mountain and also some great hikes in the area. The property is beautiful and nice to have a hot tub after a long day! We enjoyed it very much!
Great property in a great location. Our host was friendly, available and helpful, responding promptly to a couple of questions we texted to him. The Chalet was as represented, and the surrounding June Lake area was just plain beautiful.
This log "cabin" is a large yet comfortable and homey residence perfectly located in June Lake for any mountain related activities. We found the access to skiing and the quaint village just right.
Incredible property! Loved the outdoor area and hot tub with the sound of the stream surrounding the house. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and hope to stay again myself!
The chalet was just what we expected and hoped for to facilitate a few days on June Mtn. Great location. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. Plenty of space and great for just hanging out after a long day on the slopes. We plan to stay here again.
The chalet is a beautiful place to stay and fortunate we found this gem in June Lake. Snow was piled everywhere but were warm and secure in the chalet and able to use the hot tub to enjoy the day and starry nights. This is a perfect vacation place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the place.
Beautiful home and location. Is a bit out dated. Needs a deep cleaning. Some sliding doors didn't open. Not enough towels or paper towels, toilet paper supplied. Overall experience was great.

Hi Anita,
Thanks for your review and for choosing our property. We’re thrilled you loved the location and had a great time overall.
We’re sorry if the towels, paper towels, and toilet paper were hard to find. There’s a closet packed with these essentials in the hallway to the dining room. Check the welcome guide or text me, and I’ll point you right to them.
We’re surprised to hear the cleaning fell short, as our crew works hard to keep it immaculate, and this is the first such comment in over a decade. I’ll pass it along to them to ensure we maintain our high standards.
About the home feeling a bit outdated, we had a $500K remodel ten years ago with new appliances, eco-friendly tiling, and pendant lighting. We aim to keep it fresh, but your feedback helps us consider new updates.
Thanks for noting the sliding doors. We're working on them.
Your input helps us make every stay better. We’d love to host you again.
We loved the three separate rooms, each with it's own bathroom. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for our needs. We also liked the "mudroom" to take off our boots after a long day of hiking and store them there with our hiking poles to keep the rest of the house clean. Having the nice laundry area was super important as we stayed almost a week and went through a lot of clothes hiking all day every day. Great place!
My family stayed at the chalet for a few days to attend a small wedding. The backyard of this play was absolutely gorgeous made even better by the jacuzzi and hammock. A nice tucked away location with minutes drive from June Lake and Silver Lake. We definitely will be looking to stay here again in the future.
This property is phenomenal! There is a stream running around the property. The kids caught a couple trout and threw them back. Property owner was very responsive.
Truly exceptional property that is a real treat to stay at. A bit dated in some aspects but truly a beautiful home built with gorgeous woodwork. We saw deer drinking from the stream every morning while having coffee on the deck and enjoyed the stars at night from the jacuzzi.
Good idea to bring your own pillows and shower stuff (shampoo, conditioner, body wash).
Perfect base of operations for June Lake, Yosemite, Bodie, and NE Sierras. The house is roomy but cozy. Nice kitchen. Only complaint was a fishy smell from the fridge, but we cleaned it and got rid of most of the odor. Will definitely rent here again!
