Oceanfront Community of Del Mar Beach Club Pool-Side Condo with AC!

Perched on sandstone bluffs overlooking the pacific ocean, the Del Mar Beach Club is the ideal place for beach lovers. The community has an east side and a west side... We are on the west side (ocean side)!
Our two bedroom/2 bath air conditioned condominium is right at the main pool (the only heated pool on the west side), and just a thirty second walk to the private stairs leading to the beautiful sandy surf coves below. Note: We are one building behind the oceanfront building, and there is not an ocean view from the condo, but a beautiful garden, greenbelt and pool view! After a day at the beach, plunge into the sun-soaked pool or jacuzzi a dozen steps from your front door. The private gym, saunas, and gas BBQs are also right there! In the late afternoon, stroll to the view deck, or relax in the view lounge and watch the sun set over the sea. For entertainment, the race track, fairgrounds, restaurants, shopping and bars of Solana beach and Del Mar village are all minutes away.

Amenities within the home include remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, hardwood floors, WiFi, large flat screen TV with cable/DVR, a generous front garden patio, and a peaceful rear patio garden off the master bedroom.
State of the art appliances including full sized side-by-side lg washer/dryer, wine fridge, and incredibly quiet dishwasher ensure your stay is comfortable and peaceful.

Overall the property is in a great location being very convenient to pool, ocean and shops.The inside is very clean and I was completely comfortable in his unit. I would add maybe a brighter light in master bedroom. I liked the spa like feel of the master bathroom. He did a great job of renovating in general and I would stay there again.

Lovely Location with fantastic views of sunset over Pacific

Property was delightful and very comfortable. Brilliant location right next to the beach. Went for long walks at sunrise and sunset. At sunrise saw the dolphins swimming to their feeding places. At sunset watched the sun sink into the Pacific.

Amazing Property & Host

We have stayed at the Del Mar Beach Club many times, and this was our favorite visit yet! Emmett's place is immaculate and he ensures that a guest has everything they need to have a comfortable stay in his home. The proximity to the pool/grilling area was really nice having young kids. The house is sparkling clean and you really just can't beat the location in Solana Beach. Thanks for having us Emmett, we can't wait to come back again!

June getaway

This is our second trip to Solano beach. We had a wonderful time once again. The unit and property were clean. The unit was decorated nicely and very comfortable. It was nice having the pool and grill just steps away. Many restaurants within walking distance. It was always easy to communicate with our host, Emmett. Highly recommend staying here.

Emmett was great to work with and met us at the property at check in to go over everything. The condo was immaculate and decorated with very high end furnishings. The patio was a hit. Such a great place to relax. The condo complex offers great amenities with multiple pools, tennis courts and direct beach access. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants and a short drive to just about everything else. Will stay here again!

Awesome Condo

What a wonderful trip we had. The check in process was a breeze and the condo was more than expected. We loved the location and the green space for the kids the run around a bit. The beach was SO quiet for July we were amazed. We saw dolphins almost every day. The beds were super comfortable and spacious. We walked to the Brigantine, Fletcher Cove playground, CVS, and much more. If you’re looking for a beach getaway this is the place!

Perfect Stay in Solana Beach!

We traveled to the San Diego area for my daughter's soccer tournament, but staying at Emmett's beach condo made the trip truly feel like a vacation. The condo is immaculate and spacious, with amazing bathrooms, furnishings and decor. Being right next to the pool and steps from the (private) beach access was ideal. The community is extremely safe and quiet. Highly recommend this condo! Easy access to the highway as well made exploring surrounding areas a piece of cake. 5 stars!

Nice family vacation

We enjoyed 9 days at this condo facility. Took advantage of all 3 pools, and the beach. The condo itself was great and it was nice to have a place that was relaxed and not challenging for parking once you opened the gate to the complex. We liked being out of the city limits, but yet just minutes away from downtown Del Mar. Thank you Emmett for providing a nice place for our family after busy sport camp days were over. We left a volleyball and football for future renters to enjoy on the beach. :)

Perfect sunny San Diego family vacation

Great location! Easy commute from the airport, to downtown San Diego, the zoo and safari park, SeaWorld and great San Diego County beaches. Condo was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and well maintained... perfect for our family of 5. The pool was steps away from our door, and the beach was a quick walk down 94 steps ( as counted by my children). The owner was extremely helpful in answering questions regarding our stay. There were no surprises. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance or just a short drive away. This was a vacation to remember! We would certainly recommend this location and property to family and friends.

Lovely

We enjoyed our stay very much. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked but absolutely not a deterrent bc I just ran over things with a wipe. It was the same day that a new fridge was installed so I think that the cleaners might have been on a time crunch. Emmett was very kind and took the time to walk us around so we were familiar with everything and he was also very responsive.

Gosh Holly, My apologies. I didn’t notice anything when we walked through, and I usually get compliments on my cleaning crew! As you know, I always give my number to guests to call if anything is amiss. I wish I’d known, I would have called the crew immediately to give the counters another wipe down. Perhaps the fridge delivery did throw off their process that day. It kills me, it’s my first review less than 5 stars! I hope you’ll give us another chance, it sounds like everything else was satisfactory.

Perfect beach vacation spot

The condo is better than described. Great location. Just outside your private, lush patio is a green area, and the pool is steps away. The complex has excellent facilities and great access to a wonderful almost private beach. It was fun to go watch the sunset on the viewing deck and meet our fellow vacationers. The condo itself is immaculate, superb beds, and a fully stocked kitchen, including a wine cooler. We were 4 adults and a 9 year old and had plenty of room. Wifi reception was excellent The host Emmett was superb to deal with and readily answered any questions we had. Great fun local restaurants and easy access to the freeway. We are looking forward to a return visit next year. A great find!

Recommend highly

Brought family to San Diego area for my son's soccer playoffs and this property had everything we needed. Emmett was very responsive to all of my questions, check in was easy, unit is steps from the pool and a few extra steps to the observation deck. Was able to use the grill at the pool on a few occasions. Only downside was some traffic due to the County Fair but plenty of ways around that. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. Thanks for everything Emmett.

Awesome Stay!

Very nice property at an ideal location. Very near the beach with easy access to most everything. I-5 is nearby, easily accessed from a couple of entry points which makes it easy to get to everything. Beaches, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. And the pool is just outside the door! Awesome sunsets are steps away. The property was clean and comfortable, and it's surprisingly quiet at night. It's was a great place to stay away from the very busy Mission and Pacific Beach areas. We would definitely stay there again!

Great condo by the beach!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week by the beach thanks in large part to this great property and it’s amenities. The condo was very clean and the kitchen fully stocked. There is a walk out patio just a few steps to the pool and lawn with easy access to the beach. The location is great with many restaurants and shops close by - we walked to Brigatine and into Del Mar a few nights for dinner. Emmett is a pleasure to work with and we hope to visit again soon!

Why they chose this property

The Del Mar Beach club has it all. Private steps to the sand, as well as multiple pools, spas, gym and tennis courts. I purchased my unit because of the location. The large front patio sits on a large greenbelt adjacent to the pool. This provides beautiful views from the living room, dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms in the rear are quiet and the master has a wonderful private garden accessed through sliding doors. Not to mention, I can be in the water surfing within 5 minutes of leaving my front door!

What makes this property unique

Located on the ground floor, the 2 bedroom condo is just about 12 steps to the pool complex. Within the complex you will find a large heated pool, jacuzzi, his and her saunas, a fitness room, and sunning deck. Adjacent to this also steps away, is a large greenbelt with plenty of space to throw a football or just lay down and relax (great for vacation photos too).
