Such a beautiful view! We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a very nice, safe and friendly neighborhood. Great parking garage, but we could walk to shops and restaurants too. I loved our stay and plan to come back!

Fabulous view

Comfortable condo. Parking was close by and covered. Loved the many trails to walk and restaurants in the area. Quite a few steps down to the beach, but very worth it. You could also walk to city park for access.

Great Oceanfront Getaway Location

Had a great experience. Condo overlooks the ocean and sits upon cliff. Beautiful view and ocean sounds. Condo clean, well kept up and full access to facilities and internet. Would definitely go back.

Very peaceful neighborhood north of San Diego.

This property has an ocean view with access to the beach via a gate in a secure condominium. So peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. It is within walking distance to a small downtown area and some trails. Easy drive to San Diego or north to Oceanside. We would stay again.

Great location!

We loved this condo - awesome location. Plenty of places to walk to for food, sunrises, or nature. Nice to have two parking spaces so you don’t have to worry about parking. Property mgr was on top of it when we had a minor issue. Kitchen fully equipped, and two full bathrooms. We recommend, and we would definitely book again! 🙌

Exceptional experience/stay!

The view alone, was worth every penny! We saw so many dolphins it was ridiculous, in the best possible way! The condo was exceptionally clean/comfortable and spacious! There was nothing missing, amenity-wise, that we could find. The Stubbs staff were wonderful to work with, we could not have asked for a better experience!! Two Weeks at Solana Beach

We had a wonderful time. Although we did run into some obstacles. 1. We had ants. 2. Closet door was off the track, a repair man did come and fix it. 3. The place need a face lift. It's pretty run down.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is nicely situated in the Solana Beach area near restaurants and shopping but the unit is dated. The Tennis Club provided amenities but the hot tub was in need of cleaning and at least one of the tennis courts should be converted to pickleball courts.

Fantastic base for exploring the San Diego Area

What a great place! We stayed for a week using it as a base for exploring San Diego, Tijuana, Temecula, La Jolla, and Carlsbad. Great living room space, excellent Wi-Fi, the kitchen is easy to cook in, and the king-size bed was amazingly comfortable. You just can't beat the view, and the sunsets were phenomenal. We loved watching the surfers and the pelicans. The steps down to the beach are manageable and you can go for quite a beautiful walk along the cliffs. The complex is secure and charming, and parking is just steps away. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here. A word of caution - if you need things to be fancy-pants perfect, go stay at the Hotel Del Coronado. There is a small bit of wear and tear in a few spots - for example the constant access to salt water means things tend to rust, the dishwasher works best if you rinse the dishes first - but these are very minor issues compared to all this condo has to offer. We recommend it without reservation!

Updates needed and quickly

Despite what looks to be new flooring, this unit is in desperate need of critical updates. The fridge was old and leaked when you turned the ice maker on.(so we didn't have an ice maker for the stay). The washer and dryer are ancient, easily 20-30 years old. We just couldn't get anything clean in them and had to ask the property manager for an alternative unit nearby to do laundry. Positives--the view is special and the access to the one of the best beaches in the world is worth the price of admission. The unit is nice sized and is a part of a very desirable complex in Solana Beach--walking distance to almost everything worthwhile in the area.

When booked thought it was a bargain for beachfront but when we saw the state of disrepair we thought it appropriately priced. Reasons: Ants, slow sink drain in master bath and had to hold toilet handle down. In guest bath the toilet paper holder is hanging out of the wall and the toilet handle sticks in the down position and runs unless pulled up. No battery in the den fan remote so it did not work until we bought a replacement battery. The back door does not lock due to salt air corrosion. Slats on the vertical blinds in the guest bedroom are broken and there is no privacy. Some slats have been reversed and punched. That bedroom is very hot even with fans.

Per your request, we did not send our handyman out to fix them while you were there, but he did repair everything upon your departure. We do hope you enjoyed staying in Solana Beach and we look forward to hosting you again. UPDATE: We are happy to inform you that we have fixed the sink and toilet paper holder, replaced toilet handles and replaced the broken blinds. Please call us next time you need something like a battery so we can provide it for you and you won't have to purchase one. We have repaired and secured the back patio door of this 3rd floor unit with an alternative locking mechanism for additional security.
