Baia Da Luz Spacious 3 Bed Apartment: Beach 5 Mins

5 minutes’ walk from the beach at Praia da Luz, the apartment is located within the beautiful landscaped gardens of the Baia da Luz complex and is decorated in warm colours with wooden flooring. It includes modern facilities such as satellite TV, free wi-fi, air-conditioning and under floor heating.

The apartment has two floors: on the lower floor is the spacious open plan living/dining room leading to a balcony with table & chairs, perfect for outdoor dining. There is a separate fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher etc. Also on the lower floor are two bedrooms (one double with ensuite, one twin with separate bathroom). Stairs lead up from the living room to the large loft room which has twin beds, a shower room and sizeable private roof terrace.

The Baia da Luz complex features 2 large swimming pools (one heated) and a toddler pool, 2 tennis courts, a children’s playground and the poolside restaurant Alloro, which serves excellent Italian food as well as drinks and snacks (opening times vary depending on the season). During the winter months, the resort is very quiet, perfect for a peaceful get-away! In July and August, it is a buzzing family favourite.

The apartment has an allocated underground parking space, and additional parking is available at street level but it is within walking distance of the local restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops in Praia da Luz and a short drive or taxi ride from the historic town of Lagos.

Additional cleaning: The cleaning included in the cost is only for your check-out cleaning and laundry. If you would like additional daily, twice-weekly or a one-off clean, this can be arranged at extra cost, directly with the resort reception.

Baia da Luz’s front desk is available 24 hours a day, whatever the season, and can arrange airport taxi and minibus services, golf reservations, excursions, car and bicycle rental, and babysitting.

We had a good stay. This is like a managed premier condo property. It is a bit away from the old town, but it has its own very pretty sand beach that you should explore immediately. We would stay again

Luz is now one of my favorite places! I am so happy we booked here. The apartment was beautiful and such an easy walk to everything. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. We had everything we needed- even a small grocery within walking distance. The area is very well maintained and safe. Wishing we could have stayed longer but we are traveling up the country.

Wonderful location, just 4 min walk to beach w lovely boardwalk w bars and restaurants. Great pools and reasonable on site restaurant w great food. One negative - didnt have dish soap and scrub sponge when we arrived but owner made it right for us.

Vaca in Baia

Luz is slightly outside of Lagos but learned our way around quickly. The accommodation was excellent and the underground parking a bonus. Various restaurants along the resort's beach made for a pleasant evening out with a stroll back through the resort.

What a great place! There was plenty of room for the 4 of us, and the terraces/balconies were an added bonus. We didn’t use the kitchen, but had we opted to prepare a meal, it seemed well-stocked. There were several nice touches throughout, and the place was clean and quiet. We loved the location- the beach, several restaurants, and a grocery store were all within a 10-min walk. Parking at Baia Da Luz was stress-free (so much easier compared to some other places), and the host was quick to reply with questions. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and nice. For these and many other reasons, we are so grateful we found this listing. We have friends visiting Portugal in a few months and will be sure to recommend Baia Da Luz!

Such a great stay!! Easy walk to the beach. Great restaurants nearby. Beautiful, quiet property. Lots of street parking available. Kids loved the supplied beach digging supplies. Great kitchen. A/C kept rooms cool at night. Erica was super responsive and a great host. Looking forward to our next trip to Luz.

Better than pictures

Great location, beautiful place - it really was only a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. Or if you’re not a beach person, the pools are clean with lots of lounge chairs Lagos is just short Uber ride away, which is well worth the trip. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I’m ever back in Portugal.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, the property had a true resort-like feel—peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. Everything was spotless, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the space clean and welcoming.One of the highlights for us was the incredible Italian restaurant on-site. The food was so good that we ended up going twice during our stay, which says a lot. It was such a treat to have that level of dining just steps away.The location is also hard to beat. Being so close to the beach made it easy to enjoy morning walks and sunset views without any hassle. Praia da Luz is beautiful, and having it right nearby really elevated the whole experience.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We’d happily return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and an unbeatable location.

Great family rental

Our stay was phenomenal. The 2 bedroom loft apartment was incredible. Large space. Modern. Clean. It has all the amenities. Very nice community pool. Short walk to a lovely beach. High quality ideally placed accommodation

6th visit to this complex. This duplex apartment nicely located within central accommodation area. Ideally positioned for pool, beach, restaurants and supermarkets. No need for a car. Quiet location so little street noise at night. Welcome pack a nice touch (thank you) and especially helpful when arriving late evening. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely flat; one small "but"

This is a lovely, well-appointed, modern, very comfortable flat for a group of several people. The area is beautiful. In mid-October, when we visited, the area was not crowded. Breakfasts and happy hour on the balcony were delightful. Our host, Erica, was helpful and responsive. Check-in was entirely painless. ... but ... the flat and the resort where it is located could be at a warm beach almost anywhere: Florida, Australia, Costa Rica, That said, we were very happy with this rental. LOVELY LUZ LUXURY

The size of the apartment was excellent. Rooms clean and spacious for our needs. The floors of tub and showers are very slippery - perhaps a mat on the floors would be good and omit any slips/injury? Just an observation!
