I'm sorry to say the water smelled bad so we used botteled water and the Wi-Fi was pretty much non existant so we used our phones. Other than that, location and fishing were great, right along with the weather.

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the great weather, fantastic location, and fishing during your stay. We apologize for the issue you experienced with the water smell. We recently had a new 160-foot private well drilled, which is still settling, but we have already installed a 5-stage reverse osmosis filtration system to provide filtered water for drinking and cooking. Additionally, while we have extenders placed throughout the house to boost the WiFi, we are checking them again to ensure they are working properly for future guests. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention so we could address them.

Group retreat

The home was nice and welcoming. The property manager was also readily available and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing was some of the beds were not comfortable.

Quiet weekend

We enjoyed our stay. We normally take a late winter weekend away with the kids to ice fish, play games and unwind. Great place for our trip. The kids were slightly disappointed that the stand up arcade game from the pictures was not there, but all in all very enjoyable weekend.

Quiet Getaway and Great for Kids

This was a place for adults to stay and kids to visit while we were visiting over the holidays. The games ans open space made it great for keeping the kids entertained. The lake was beautiful despite the grey weather. Lots of birds to watch including to pairs of swans! I'd love to see it in the summer!

Great MEA Getaway!

We were fortunate enough to have a lovely October weekend and enjoyed our stay with yard games and relaxing by the water. The property was well kept and the location was great. With the warm fall there were a lot of Asian beetles that got in at the entry points and we suggested to the owns to add screen doors to help deter so many getting in in the future. We also enjoyed visiting the brewery and other local bars downtown.

We had a great time. The house has everything you need. The kids loved the game room. The dock was perfect for the boats. We caught some 10” blue gills right from the dock too. The place was clean overall but could use a little bit deeper dusting and could cut back the weeds a bit more closer to fire pit. Overall it was a good place. We would come back!

Property is tired

The home needs a deep cleaning. We found dead bugs, spider webs and dust bunnies all over. Overall the property needs some updating and general maintenance. The stairs to the dock were overgrown and uneven, the dock did not feel overly secure.
