Long called "The Summer Place", this secluded retreat off the Kalamazoo River is IDEAL YEAR ROUND. The Summer Place is a short walk to downtown Saugatuck, filled with shops, galleries, restaurants and nightlife. Nearby is the spectacular Oval Beach. There could not be a better place to visit.

Your private studio cottage includes a queen bed, sitting area, cathedral ceiling, private deck, pull out couch (single), full bath (shower, no tub), wet bar with sink, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV, WiFi, off-street parking, air conditioning, heat and ceiling fan (seasonal). DOGS WELCOME FOR ONE-TIME $100 PET FEE.

property was in the perfect location! I wouldn’t necessarily call it a “cottage” — it’s more of a studio apartment (there’s only a microwave and mini fridge). We had a great time, and the owners were absolutely lovely and very communicative. It’s nice that the downtown was right around the corner and we could walk to everything :)

We loved the short walk into town , it was incredibly convenient. The cottage is well appointed and has a very cozy deck with rhododendrons all around . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the charm of Saugatuck. Janet and Fred were very welcoming, they made you feel right at home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Saugatuck. The property was clean and cute. The off street parking spot was great because it can be hard to find a parking spot in the evening. The host was very nice and helpful and the complimentary pass to Oval Beach they provided was a nice touch!

What a great location! We had an amazing time in Saugatuck. This property was perfect for the two of us and our two pups. We could walk and bike anywhere and we did! Janet and Fred were nearby if we needed anything yet we still felt we had plenty of privacy. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay. Cottage was cozy and cute. Owner had so many homey touches, really made us feel welcome. Great location, quick walk to town. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay

The cottage is really close to everything in Saugatuck. The hosts were wonderful and had thought through the small things like having coffee, snacks, and water for guests. Really enjoyable stay!

We love this little cottage. It’s just perfect for the two of us. We always get a warm greeting from the owner and the place has so many little amenities that make it welcoming and cozy. The short walk to town is perfect. Excellent in all ways.
