Welcome to Recreational Therapy, a serene, single-level retreat designed for comfort, connection, and adventure. This two-bedroom home features a queen bed in one room and a twin-over-full bunk in the other—perfect for families or small group of friends. The cozy living area invites you to relax by the gas fireplace while you watch your favorite shows. Whip up meals in the stylish kitchen or take it outside to the back deck, where a gas grill and private hot tub await. In the evenings, gather around the firepit and listen to the calming sounds of nearby Swallow Falls.

Hike to Swallow Falls and the Youghiogheny River directly from the property! Though tucked away for privacy, Recreational Therapy is just a short drive from all the best area attractions. Whether you're seeking rest, adventure, or a bit of both, this is your perfect home base in the mountains.

THIS HOME is not pet-friendly (undisclosed pet fee will be charged at 3x advertised pet fee). This home does not have air conditioning, washer/dryer, or dishwasher. This home has an exterior camera. Max. parking spaces: 3

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info.
