Welcome to Your Classic Retreat in University Park

Step into the timeless charm of our beautifully restored 1932 duplex in the heart of University Park. This spacious 2,700 sq ft upstairs unit blends vintage character with modern amenities, offering a truly one-of-a-kind stay. From the original plaster walls and intricate mouldings to the iconic bumblebee-tiled bathroom, every corner tells a story of history and style.

Though nearly a century old, the home has been thoughtfully updated for comfort—curated art, contemporary furnishings, and high-end touches make it as cozy as it is captivating. Please note: this is an upstairs unit and includes two flights of stairs. For the safety of little ones, we kindly ask that children not play on or climb the stairs unattended.

Inside the Home

Enter through a secure, code-controlled door and head upstairs to the bright and welcoming second-floor living area. You’ll find:
• A spacious living room perfect for relaxing or gathering.
• A formal dining room and fully-equipped kitchen ready for home-cooked meals.
• The first bedroom features a firm Tempur-Pedic king-size bed and large flat-screen TV.
• Access to the Tree-Top Deck. Enjoy the 300 sq ft deck suspended in the air and surrounded by forest.
• The second bedroom includes a medium-firmness Tempur-Pedic queen bed and wall-mounted smart TV.
• At the end of the hall is the whimsical and beloved bumblebee-tiled bathroom—a nod to the home’s playful heritage.

Third-Floor Retreat

Upstairs on the third floor, enjoy a second, more private living space that includes:
• A cozy lounge with two sofas and a large smart TV.
• A massage chair for ultimate relaxation.
• A king-size bed tucked into its own nook.
• A second full bathroom for added convenience.

So Charming!

What a beautiful home! Close to everything in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Dallas. Our family loved staying here during our visit for an SMU summer camp. My 4 year old keeps asking when we can go back to the “treehouse”. But this is no ordinary treehouse. It’s got all the modern conveniences and it’s absolutely adorable! The coziness was next level. It was honestly hard to leave. We live in an older home so this was just our style. I love when rentals have decor and rugs. It makes it feel so homey. You can tell a lot of love and thought was put into this place. It was also impeccably clean. We can’t wait to return!
