If you would like to have a volunteer experience while enjoying your beach vacation, contact the Share the Beach organization. Share the Beach’s volunteers typically number around 450. They are organized into teams, and the tasks include patrolling the beach, educating the public and school groups, conducting late-night nest observations, and assisting with supply and equipment preparations. All the volunteers with Share the Beach do a fantastic job. They record the nests as they come in. They protect the nests and put in thousands of hours each year

The house was great, the area was great! Not as populated as Gulf Shoes and not really convenient to any grocery stores but quaint and quiet.

Our experience was great, we had a great time. The place was the perfect place to stay. Last year we stayed at West Beach Boulevard, but this place and location was much better for us.

Quiet neighborhood and the house was clean. There is a distance to restaurants and stores. The place could be updated and the community pools were not very clean. The beach is just steps away! Enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive!

Great time!!!!

We have stayed in this house for the 2nd time. This time was no different, This is a great place to stay and close to the beach! We walked from house to beach in less then 3 min. It’s also got the gated pool available it was a little warm in pool but the temperatures has that affect! Other then that great stay!!!!

It was overall pretty good. The dryer needs to be fixed/ the vent tore a few pieces of clothes. The can opener doesn’t work, so we had to go buy a can opener. There is no cable, so we weren’t able to watch the sports we wanted to. The house is in a great location and was very clean.

Love Ft Morgan!

This was our 8th trip to Ft Morgan, our first to this property. We’ve stayed in everything from a condo to a 5BR on the beach. It’s all great. This house had everything we needed. Steps to the beach, a pool, room for all. The teen boys spent post beach time in the hall bunks which made us laugh. One thing we really loved was the front porch with morning and afternoon sun and the back porch with evening sun and a view of the bay. Absolutely gorgeous. If you come to Ft Morgan, stop at Walmart on 59 and get your supplies. Bring liquor from home because Alabama is not cheap. This house is 20 miles from Walmart but there is a Dollar General grocery about 10 miles away. Don’t expect a lot of go carts, ice cream parlors, or restaurants. The joy of this area is nature and family.

Bittersweet

Fully stocked kitchen had some items in disrepair and some general items missing. You have to bring your own toilet paper and trash bags were missing too. Absolutely no sleeping on the couch is a listed rule. These are minor details, but gave the stay a bitter taste, like we weren't really welcome, but otherwise the house is nice and the location is good. If they can update some of the kitchen utensils and give that sense of welcome, this property would be perfect.

The bedroom off to the left had dirty sheets. That bathroom had a used wash cloth in the sink with open used soaps on the sink. Urine in a toilet in a different bathroom. A man showed up at the front door around 930 pm the 1st night we was there. He said he was the cleaning service and had been on vacation and he was not sure if the house had been cleaned. So there for we have no idea just how clean it really was. Only booked with evolve because of a credit from 2020 that was refused to be given back due to covid. They would not let us come to the house at that time. I will never use evolve again. The area where the house is located and quite. Very close to the ocean.

No cable tv Main tv in living area not hooked up to prime. Low supply of towels and toilet paper. Low supply of kitchen utensils. Grill was almost not-usable. Back door lock is coming apart. Unfortunately, previous guests rearranged the setup for the tv and cable to fit their needs and didn't put it back. The owner confirmed the tv and cable are working properly. - We wish you would have reached out to the guest contact during your stay. They would have been more than happy to bring over more supplies and kitchen utensils, as well as look at the grill and back lock to make your stay most comfortable. - The listing description includes a map so that guests can see the approximate location of the home before booking. Difficult start, but great ending

Check in was hard. House not cleaned by 4:00 check in, but owner contacted housekeeping and they responded right away and did an excellent job. Very friendly and professional. Home was comfortable but AC in living area was not good. AC set on 70 and living area never got below 73/74. Uncomfortably hot. However, the bedrooms were fine. We kept the doors closed and ceiling fans on. Location is very isolated which is good, just a long drive to restaurants and activities. Overall a great stay! Thanks so much!

The house was as listed and pictured accurately. Other reviews mentioned the beds were uncomfortable. I only slept in one (the master), and I agree it wasn't comfortable due to how firm it is, however I did not wake with back pain. If you like firm mattresses, you'll love it! The refrigerator gave us problems. When we got there, the refrigerator had a patch of condensation on the freezer door under the ice dispenser. This right away gave me pause. It was difficult to open the door because it was frozen shut with frost at the dispenser. It was extremely difficult to get it to dispense ice at all because the path was blocked with frost build-up. I did not contact anyone about this because who wants to take time out to handle repairs on vacation? But it cooled just fine on both the freezer and refrigerator sides. I should have brought my fire stick, because the channels provided by the antenna offered little for the children (not that they spent much time watching TV). The only REAL disappointment was with the community pool. It closed at 8:00 instead of 10:00 because the lights were out and one of the pools was roped off altogether. The man who told us we had to leave said the lights had been out all summer. I personally find that unacceptable and this issue needs to be resolved. My son was burned the first day so swimming after dark would have greatly enhanced his stay. The maintenance on the exterior of the homes also needs improvement. I have been staying in this community for around 15 years (we usually stay in The Beach Castle, but I had fewer guests this time) and I can see that things are not what they were. My adult children grew up coming here and I hope to continue that tradition with my 10 year old and future grandchildren. In addition to that, the friends I brought this time usually stay at orange beach in a high occupancy condo complex and fell in love with this community, the less densely populated beach that provided ease of watching their children, and the water was SO clear and pretty that it was blue/green this trip. So I hope something is done with property exterior maintenance in the community as a whole because I adore this hidden gem of a community and hope to continue staying here in the future with guests.

Overall stay was ok. Had great family time with our kids and grandkids. Reason for the 3 stars, is all beds were uncomfortable. The master bed sink in the middle, so I woke up every day with backaches. One of the queen beds were hard. The worst thing was the freezer did not get cold. We list alot of meat because of it! House was clean and well kept.
