The home was awesome and was much nicer than I expected. Usually the pictures make the home look better than it is but it really was great. The hosts were super responsive as well. Would 100% stay again.

There were a few issues but the host handled them quickly. John is extremely responsive. Overall, we had a great stay. It’s a beautiful property in an amazing location.

The location is perfect (easy walk to a beautiful beach) and home is large but the home is very worn down. The carpet and kitchen rug were gross. Old scratched pots and pans. Shades on windows do not block sun. The beds were good and many pillows to choose from. Lots of toys in garage. Outlet broken near bed in one room. Window lock broken on main floor bedroom. LOTS of spiders and webs on the top patio, so we did not use it. Owner was quick to respond and was helpful. Train noise is horrible for those not used to it, so maybe fans in the rooms would be helpful. Carlsbad is a cute town with many restaurants.
