Decent but overpriced for what it is

We have pretty high expectations of properties as we have a few rentals ourselves in another state. We felt the cabin was a nice layout and it was clean inside but there was a little bit we did not care for including noisy neighbors all around, lots of cobwebs on exterior of the house and windows, and our wifi never worked. It was just not impressive for the price we paid and should have been.

One parked in front of our cabin causing one of us to park in another cabins space. The heat on the lower level was out on our first night. It was cold. The outside temp that night was 24. The situation was corrected the next day.

Cleanliness could have been much better..

When I called about info they asked for I was frustrated and Heather's response was "life is too short to be so bitter". Not an encouraging statement from someone who is a representative of your property. The hot tub was slimey and the floors under the furniture hadn't been touched for months. The cabin was nice and plenty of space for 6 adults and 1 teenager. I doubt I will rent from Aunt Bugs again due to the excessive info required AFTER my charge card has already been charged and accepted and the unacceptable response from a representative.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the cabin itself was nice. but the interior was very bland. the TV's was so small especially in the bedrooms. you could not watch tv from the bed at all. the main tv was too small and all the large windows did not allow a viewer to see the screen. the toilets were so small and low to the ground. I have a problem with my knee and we had to go out to buy a implement so I could use the bathroom with out assistance. the outdoor furniture was not nice at all, very inferior for the price we spent. I choose this unit out of despair. we had another cabin on hold until the owner sold the cabin. we had only one week to rent a new one. and this was the only one left. or so they said. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone. I was not satisfied with this cabin. and I will make sure our friends don't rent this unit also.

Dissapointment with a capital "D"!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After 3 phone calls and emails of jumping through several hoops to allow a family member who arrived before me to pick up our address and key code, I found out later that I was still required to come by the office and sign paperwork. No one ever told me that during the phone calls that I made earlier and that meant time back in the car and 30 minutes away from family(which was frustrating since I had already signed and faxed contracts a month earlier!)Also, there were several light bulbs out and one bedroom had a full glass outside door with no window covering (found broken in closet). After calling to report these issues and being told they would be addressed, I received a call from your office asking how our trip was going and so I reported these issues again and was told they would be taken care of. Nothing was done until the last afternoon of our stay when a flimsy stick on shade appeared on the bedroom door and the trash left on the kitchen counter. After paying over $1,800 for a 3 night stay, I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness and overall quality. I realize Aunt Bug's is a rental management company, but would assume that the owner's are paying you a fee to make them aware of any issues like broken blinds and mattresses that are horrible and need to be replaced. Overall the experience with Aunt Bug's was that the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing! I talked to one person and was told one thing, and then later called back and talked to a different person and mentioned what the first person told me, and the second person said they didn't recognize the other person's name and they must be new and didn't give me the correct information. Obviously, I will not be using Aunt Bug's again.

Great Family Cabin

Clean, Easy check in and check out! Kids loved the entertainment lower level. Big seller on this property was the 2 bunk bed rooms. Very easily fit our party of 10!

One night the police were out to the cabin next door for having a very LOUD party!

It was easy to rent but they might want to consider a BIGGER WASHER and dryer!!! A home that sleeps that many shouldn't have a washer the size only appropriate for a single person. The dryer took forever which made it difficult to do the laundry quickly.

Awesome, Comfortable, Clean and Fun!

Cabin was very clean and kids were excited to see the rooms, theater and game room (which we all had fun at each night). Cabin is beautiful and the perfect distance from Pigeon Forge. Master Suite was beautiful and romantic. Decks and hot tub were beautiful. My only constructive feedback is that there was no yard for the dogs. I didn't ask, but the pictures (and maybe my imagination) made it seem like there was. The 2nd arcade machine never turned on. The office said they'd send maintenance on our first night, but it was never fixed (and I never called back). Lastly, the check-in process seemed over- the- top compared to most places we stay. Three or four on- line docs to sign, selfies with your ID. Not sure if all that is necessary?

Loud neighbors

The property itself was on a very steep hill. The cabin was nice but it could use some updates and cleaning. The hot tub had a crack in the front and was leaking on the lower deck. My family only got to rest the first night, the second night was Hell!! We had neighbors that partied all night. Music was so loud that it literally seemed like they were doing it in the streets. This went on for two nights straight till check out. So no I wouldn’t stay at this location again. And the roads to this location was very curvy so if your not comfortable with driving on narrow roads I would not recommend this location.

Great Cabin

The cabin was clean & staff were great. The only negative thing I can express is 2 suggestions 1. if you plan to cook a lot you will need to bring extra cookware. Very minimal stocked. 2. We were also disappointed that there was no Christmas Tree / or decorations for the week of Christmas we rented. A trip to Family Dollar did fix this. We had a great time & would recommend this cabin to rent.

Great Family Getaway

The cabin has a great layout for families. The location was central to everything with very nice views. Beds were clean and comfy. Kitchen was adequately equipped but unorganized. Tile floors were dirty and carpets extremely dirty and need deep cleaning or replaced. Don’t walk around without shoes or slippers. Was told at checkin there was no password for internet and that was false. Had to figure it out on our own and tell the office what the password was for future guests. Charcoal grill is tiny and open to elements, rusted and leaning. This could be a very nice place with some attention and TLC.

A cabin to remember

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was spacious and felt like home. Only 3 issues: the refrigerator was off when we arrived and we had about $3000 worth of medications needing to be cooled. This was disastrous for us. Two calls were made and we never heard from or saw any help 2. The downstairs clock was broken. 3. Someone locked themselves in the bathroom and it couldn't be opened by sticking a wire into the hole. Other than that, all was great.
