Steps to beach & restuarants and Pet Friendly!

WE FOLLOW CDC RECOMMENDED CLEANING!! This 1450 sq ft. Beach Cottage has all the charms and amenities that you want for your vacation. HDTV with DVD's for those rainy afternoons, sit in the cabana on the beach, read a book, or go for a swim in the heated pool. We even have a high chair for small family members. You are 200 yards from the beach, and walking distance to putt putt, and 20 different restaurants. 2 bedrooms with bath/kitchen/living area on top floor, and a private living area w/2 bedrooms & bath downstairs as well.
The cottage is tastefully decorated with themes for each of the bedrooms. This Tommy Bahama decorated cottage has lots to keep you busy on a rainy afternoon with puzzles, games, DVD's. You can always spend time in the kitchen with all the fine cookware and blender to make those Margarita's. The heated pool is just steps away and the beach a few more steps beyond (cottage located on beach side). There is a gazebo on the beach for all to enjoy as you sit and read. Beach toys and boogie boards along with beach towels a wagon and chairs make the visit extra easy as you head down to the white sandy beach for a couple of hours. All beds have extra nice Mattresses with comfy linen sheets. Even your nights will be met with comfort. AC has a limit of 70 degrees, so if this is a problem, be sure to let me know before you book. MUST BE 22 years or older to rent. MAX PET SIZE 40 lbs. Pool MAYBE HEATED, but HOA can turn off heat as they control it.

This was the perfect place to stay in St.Augustine Beach. Super comfortable beds, great space and games for kids, and right next to a quiet and lovely beach. Great casual restaurant options nearby and plenty to do. We will be back!!

Perfect St. Augustine house close to beach and town

We have stayed multiple times at this location and each time there are minor improvements and touch ups that show the owner really cares. Would recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in St. Augustine and just relax.

Great beach getaway

This is the sweetest place! It is decorated in a fun beach theme and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Close to the pool and a very short walk to the beach! It's location also makes it easy to travel to tourist and historical places. Our family had a wonderful time staying here!

Enjoyed our stay. The property met our needs. Beach was close and very close to the pool. Would have liked to have the microwave to heat up leftovers, but that should be fixed for the next visitors.

Nice location in Surfcrest Villlage. Home was comfortable, kitchen facilities well-supplied, beds and other furniture very comfy, wi fi worked well, host responsive, lots of beach toys for the grandkids. We all had a good time!

Great location and beach

This was our first trip to St. Augustine Beach. We loved it. Quiet little town with good restaurants (except The Tides Oyster Co., terrible service and just o.k. food), convenient to grocery stores, just minutes away from Downtown St. Augustine. We enjoyed the house very much. Everything was provided as described and the owner was very friendly and accomodating. Would stay there again for sure. The beach is wonderful and it's not too far away from the house. I enjoy walking and it was really no big deal for me. Driving out on the beach made it easier for others in my group and to get all the chairs and stuff down there. Very nice and clean beach.

We had a wonderful time. In the trying time with Covid-19 we had booked a vacay to Disney all paid for. Then once the park closed we had our daughter and grands still traveling from out of state so we had to make backup plans. We lucked up on this wonderful rental. Beds are comfortable, house definitely has everything you need to cook etc. Contact with owner is awesome always quick to answer any questions and help. The neighborhood is great for small kids not a lot of traffic and with cul-de-sacs all around they're safe. Easy walk to the beach and after that, the pool topped off the day. Thank you look forward to coming back.

Very disappointed

Not at all like it was depicted in the reviews! We couldn’t tell the last time there were any “upgrades;” everything is worn, not one of the 5 beds were the least bit comfortable; cleanliness is not important, as is evidenced by the buildup from dirty hands on doors and staircase, filthy floors, etc. The air conditioner is governed so it can’t be adjusted, leaving the place damp, to where you could feel the dampness when getting into bed each night; a very uncomfortable feeling. And, as if that wasn’t enough, there was black mold on the ceiling of my bedroom, around the A/C vent, and the place reeked of must every time we walked in the front door. Not a healthy environment. Once again, we were extremely disappointed!

House as Described

The house fits 8 people comfortably. The house was clean and nice upon arrival. There are plenty of games to play and a large kitchen table to play them at. The pool is close by, nice and large. The grounds are well maintained. There is a putt putt course very close walkable distance. Nothing against the house or owner but the only real issue we had was getting to the beach. The house sits at the back side of the property. The walk to the boardwalk isn't bad, however there are stairs leading down to the sand which doesnt make it easy to take a beach cart. After exiting the board walk you must cross a sand dune and also cross over a rutted out beach access road to get to the ocean. The road is for 4wd vehicles only and the tire tracks were at least a foot deep while we were there. We never seen them maintain/drag the road the 7 days we were there. This made it extremely hard for smaller kids and our older family members to access and enjoy the beach. Otherwise, a great time was had!

Family Vacation

My family and I enjoyed the place thoroughly! The place was very comfortable and clean. The Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Easy access to the pool and beach. Parking was convenient. Very close to everything. Perfect family vacation.

My husband and I have always wanted a beach home. Living in CA, this is almost impossible! My childhood friend moved to St. Augustine and spoke so highly of the area, she insisted on me visiting to check it out. I fell in love with St. Augustine! The history, the beaches, the local people and the color of the area!!!

Why they chose this property

This is such an awesome community! 42 cottages nested together and sharing the beautiful beach, pool and community house. All within walking distance to everything you would want! Park your car for the week, and walk everywhere!

What makes this property unique

You can see the pool from the deck, and there is lots of St. Augustine grass for the kids to play on right outside the house. Easy walk to the beach, and walk to just about anything on St. Augustine beach!
