Sun Kissed offers all of this & more! Located at the Maravilla condominium complex – Sun Kissed is a 2nd floor condo (in a 3-story building) with awesome gulf views from the balcony. The complex boasts 3 sparkling pools, a hot tub, outdoor volleyball area and other outdoor games, a fitness room and 6 pay per use laundry facilities.

While our listing indicates that there are washers/dryers- these are not inside of the unit however they are shared among the others living and vacationing at the complex. There are actually 6 pay-per-use laundry centers at the Maravilla; they accept credit and debit cards as payment for use..

Sun Kissed is set up to accommodate all of your needs whether it’s coffee or a cocktail on the balcony, cooking gourmet meals, heating up leftovers or making popcorn for family movie and game night – the kitchen has absolutely everything you’ll need. Cookware, dinnerware, silverware and glassware, full-sized appliances and more.

The serene master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the common restroom can be accessed either from the hallway or the bedroom. The living room has a queen sized sleeper sofa and there is a set of true twin bunk beds built in to the hallway niche. The décor is coastal without being over the top and distracting, and the balcony with tall seating and a table is the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink of choice. With the balcony on the east side of the building – you’re sure to catch one of Galveston’s amazing sunrises!

When you’re on vacation with us – you’re on vacation. No need to stop at an office, wait in a line to pick up keys – just get to your home away from home and start enjoying all that our city has to offer. Of course if you need us, we are only a text, message or phone call away and we look forward to EARNING your 5 star review and to earning your repeat business and referrals. The Maravilla is a condominium complex of 164 privately owned condos. Some of the owners live here full-time, others use it as their personal Galveston Getaway and others, like the owners of Sun Kissed, offer it to Galveston visitors.

PARKING/RESORT/AMENITIES - The Maravilla complex (not My Galveston Getaway) charges a fee that is $10 per vehicle per day up to a maximum of $70 per vehicle per month. Again - we have no control over this charge and almost every complex on the island has a fee of some sort that is charged for use of these amenities.

My Galveston Getaway provides starter supplies of toiletries, paper products, dish cleaning options and coffee to get our guests started and situated before making their shopping lists and determining which shopping option works best for their group. These supplies are not intended to last your entire group the duration of your stay - but to get started! We also provide one bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each guest that the unit sleeps, along with 2 dish towels.

We used to provide beach towels, too – but they tended to go home with our guests as souvenirs and it became quite expensive. As a result – we have beach towels that are available and the only charge we have is for the extra laundry that is involved when washing them. For this unit the cost is $20 for 6 beach towels during your stay. We will ask for a credit card to hold on file in the event they are not left at the property upon guest departure. Please let us know in advance if you wish for us to have beach towels left prior to your arrival.

Should you wish to have additional housekeeping services during your stay or to have linen swaps during your stay, these can be arranged with advance notice upon request at an additional cost.

There is currently construction going on in one building of the complex. This does not affect the condo you are reserving from us or any of the amities of the complex. After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island in Texas located on the Gulf of Mexico. From time to time we have unexpected rain, thunderstorms, and sometimes we do have tropical storms and hurricanes. From time to time there may be brief interruptions in electricity and WiFi services due to weather. You should consider purchasing trip interruption or cancelation protection through the platforms or another source. We are unable to guarantee sunny days, mosquito free nights and perfect weather, nor do we refund for these possibilities. We issue refunds in the event of mandatory evacuations issued by a governmental agency, or for the property being unavailable due to damages and extended power outages. Trip cancelation and interruption coverage is available through most booking platforms as well as through private vendors found on the world wide web should you wish to purchase such a policy.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.


My Galveston Getaway cancellation policy: If your cancelation is received more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, there is a $100 cancelation fee, the remainder is refundable. If your reservation is cancelled 14-30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date there is a $100 cancelation fee, 50% of the remainder is refundable. If your cancelation is made between arrival and 13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, there will be no refund issued.
