Beautiful 2 Bedroom Vacation Condo in Galveston - Great Gulf Views

Beautiful 2 bed/2 full bath condo, located directly on the Seawall on the 9'th floor. Walk across the street to Galveston's new "Babe's Beach". Completely unobstructed view of the ocean; the building has a 24 hour concierge on site, and the building has an elevator. Onsite amenities include onsite community laundry, tennis court, onsite pool, security, trash, water and sewer.

Tile in every room provides for an allergy free stay. Modern kitchen has utensils, plates and cups and with stainless steel appliances.

Kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and basic cooking utensils.

Open concept dining room and living room have stunning ocean front views.

The condo will sleep 5, each bedroom has a queen size bed, and there is a sofa that sleeps one in the living area. Bedroom 1 has a private full bath, inside the bedroom, and large walk in closet. Bedroom 2 has an ocean view, with a closet with a sliding door, and the bathroom is located just outside the door of the bedroom, and can be shared with guests who are using the living room area.

Property has a pool and tennis courts.

Close to restaurants, Wal-Mart, and transportation (Galveston trolley line runs in front of condominium).

Directly across from the beachfront. Chairs and Umbrellas for sale on beach by independent vendors.

The view was great. Balcony is small, but appropriate for urban property.. Traffic noise is to be expected, but gets tiring. Unit is older and in need of updating, especially bathroom fixtures and mattresses. Master bed is extremely squeaky. 24 hour staff is great. No problems with booking or instructions for access.

We had a great time the concierge desk staff outstanding answered all of our questions. The place was decorated well we gave the ocean view to our friends and we took the first bedroom. Bed was a bit squeaky but nothing too bad overall we would definitely come back again.

The condo had aa beautiful view of the Gulf and was very well cared for. Everything was in order when we checked in. The location is nice. The drawback for both of us were the very soft, and spongy, mattresses. I would suggest updated the mattresses and the linens to cotton. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to and watching the waves.

It’s a nice condo with a great view. The swimming pool is ice cold freezing. The tv in the living area would not connect to cable. After paying everything, including required insurance and parking fees, it got a bit pricey. Still, it was a good location for us.

Nice place, great location. Amazing view. We were able to walk right over to the beach and not deal with the crowds and parking you'll find closer to the touristy area. I was surprised by a few fees not mentioned in the post, but still worked out fine. Size was perfect for our 4 person family. Very comfortable.

Exactly what expected. There was some miscommunication regarding the parking fees but we contacted the property manager and got a response and refund right away. Great views, right across the beach. Would definitely book again.

Dated, the beds are small and in desperate need of new mattresses! The master commode does not fill with water and the tank had to be filled with water from the tub. Other small things need updates/repairs. All in all it met our needs but we will look further next year. That being said we walked to the beach every day and enjoyed the pool.

View was nice. One bed was ok , the master bed was too soft and felt worn out , squeaking with every movement and poor quality linens. Although a 2 bath unit, only one ( sluggish) toilet operational for 90% of the stay ( it was repaired the afternoon before our scheduled departure). Very limited supplies in kitchen , although listed as being fully stocked. We were very disappointed with this choice.

Across from Babe Beach

We enjoyed the closeness to the beach, but did stress a bit a few times crossing the street. The unit we stayed in had faulty plumbing. It would take forever for a toilet tank to refill. The master bedroom TV did not work and they had most all utensils but NO Silverware. Will probably not say there again only because we decided we really liked West Beach.

Lovely property

This property is in a great location with the best view on the island (in our opinion.) The unit has very nice amenities and everything you need for a short, or long, stay. We look forward to visiting again.
