Surrounded by trees, the sounds of nature and the gentle breeze make stress disappear. Marvel in the majestic evening sunsets while soaking in the hot tub or sitting around the lakeside fire pit. Just a 5 minute walk to The Pointe which offers various activities most weekends including inflatables, food trucks, live music and pontoon rentals. Located 12 miles from Wetumpka, as featured on HGTV, with several restaurants, boutiques, art exhibits, casino, kayak and paddle board rentals. Several nearby biking and hiking trails. We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely immaculate and looked even better than the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Our group had the best time, especially fishing — it was definitely a highlight of the trip.The host was wonderful and very accommodating, even allowing us to stay a little longer, which we really appreciated. My bridesmaids and I had the best weekend staying at this property! It was so clean, and it had everything we could have needed. It even included a blackstone, air fryer, and crockpot. The house was very nice and had a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. I would suggest some curtains or blinds for guests who like a little more privacy. However, we were very disappointed with the outdoor amenities. The listing states the hot tub, firepit and fishing dock were on site. They are not on site but next door on the owners property. We feel this should have been stated more clearly in the VRBO listing as we would have chosen another location. Therefore, we left after only one night. The view of the lake from the house and porch is obstructed with trees and overgrown shrubs. Overall, a disappointing vacation.

I am surprised and also sorry that you feel this way. Our property, with 650 feet of lake front, has a main house and a guest house on it. Dogwood Cottage is the guest house. The hot tub, fire pit and swim dock are directly on the lake and when the Cottage is rented, guests are the only ones to use this area which is approximately 35 steps from the guest house. The house is nestled among the trees in a natural setting. The "shrubs" you referred to are blueberry bushes that our July guests will enjoy picking if so desired. We left these because they provide privacy between the boathouse and the front porch. Both bedrooms have curtains and pocket doors to provide privacy. We chose not to place curtains on the living room/kitchen area so the great views of the outside lake area are not obscured giving the house with it's high ceilings an open feel. As I told you in the personal response, you did not communicate anything to me until the day after you departed which left me at a disadvantage to do anything to assist you. I hope in the future you are able to find exactly what you are looking to rent.

Brand new home right on Lake Jordan. Very peaceful and serene setting when we were there in early November. Layout of the home and the amenities are very nice.
