Overall, it was a great stay, and we would stay again! It is very spacious. We were able to close off rooms to keep our dogs away from the Christmas trees. My kids were a bit disappointed that there weren't any ghosts, but we appreciated the ghost story books. The backyard furniture and grill could use a good cleaning and the indoor closets would benefit from some decluttering, but we had everything we needed and communication was excellent. We loved the historic authenticity of the house.

The host was very welcoming and very helpful she checked on us and she was very sweet. The house was amazing and all decorated for Christmas. Would be a amazing house to host a Christmas night for a family wanting to just get a way and relax. The cook book there had tons of good food you could do for dinner

This is a beautiful Victorian home with lots of space. We were traveling with our dogs and the fenced yard was a convenient and beautiful space. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood where you could hear the chimes of Church bells. Our host did provide very clear access instructions

Such a fun opportunity to stay in a Victorian style home built in the 1800s! The stained glass is beautiful, and our group enjoyed exploring such a gorgeous piece of history. So much Christmas stuff! Absolutely adorable. There is a train track somewhere nearby, which we didn’t realize until we heard it in the middle of the night.

Yes, train goes through Gainesville and Amtrak stops at the Historic Train Depot. We are far enough away most people don’t notice it, but we do have air filters in the closets you can turn on if you are a light sleeper and ear plugs in the drawers. Sorry it woke you up.
