Was looking for a pet friendly, boat dock included, quiet cabin for a weekend. The owner was more than helpful and the location was ideal. Highly recommend this property and will plan to go back in the future.
Everything was clean , the host was very accommodating. Very quiet, and peaceful weekend. This is what we needed , wish are schedule was was more open liked to have stayed longer. But look forward to going again
The pier overlooking the river was phenomenal! My family really enjoyed having some homemade dinner right beside the river. Mike was also so very kind and inviting! He took our family for a little boat ride and let us use his kayak :) our trip was filled with little delights. It was a very comfortable and cozy stay for our family of four
We had a great time! Fishing was great! Outside view and deck was nice. Ceilings in living room and bedroom were very low. It was fine for our family because none us are tall. If you are tall it might be an issue. Otherwise, no complaints.
This is an adorable rustic stone cabin that reminds you of the ozarks of old. Simple but appointed with all necessary modern comforts and unmatched charm. But the dock and martini deck are the real star of the show because let’s be honest, you come to the ozarks to be on the lake. The value of private waterfront on a quiet cove is unmatched. It’s also a short drive to many lakeside bars and restaurants. I would come stay again without hesitation and have already shared this little treasure with friends.
Dock Holiday is truly a fisherman’s delight! To find a place right on the lake, with its own dock, and pet-friendly for our spoiled fur baby is absolutely priceless. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and being able to step outside and fish or just enjoy the water was perfect. The owners, Mark and Cathy, are wonderful communicators and made everything so easy from start to finish. We even had the pleasure of meeting Mark on one of our walks—he stopped to greet our furry one, Sierra, and gave her all the love she could ask for. That personal touch made our stay even more special.Inside, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner at home. The location is wonderfully quiet and relaxing, with the sounds of geese, jumping fish, and gentle waves creating the perfect backdrop. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!
It was perfect. I was wanting to get away with my pitbull to relax and do some fishing and it was exactly what I was looking for. The only 2 times I left the cabin was to make a Walmart run, which was just 12 min away, and to go to Osage beach, 15 min away, to watch the 47th annual Shootout boat race. It was an experience I would greatly suggest you attend next year. I highly recommend this cabin and Mark was an excellent host. Thanks Mark
We were looking for peaceful and relaxing. This place has it. The owners were great, the property clean and the fishing was good. We will definitely be back.
