About this property
Yay! Spacious 2 Bdrm, 2 Bth Town Home in classy resort w/ 4 pools & 4 hot tubs!
Here's an opportunity to enjoy fun, upscale vacationing at one of the nicest, top-rated resorts in Williamsburg. King's Creek is a beautifully landscaped, well maintained, friendly resort. This popular, gated resort provides enjoyable vacation opportunities for couples, as well as for families.
Our unit is 1230 square feet, and comfortably sleeps 6 guests. It is a two bedroom, single floor town home is one of the few Townes' End-Units that backs up to the forest. So if you like the idea of staying on the top floor (just two floors total), with several vertically tall adjoining windows, that provide a picturesque view of the tree tops, this is the unit for you!
Our unit contains a Master bedroom suite, with a King-sized bed, an adjoining large bathroom, along with a bordering a den (office), with a Queen-sized sofa bed. The large bathroom contains a shower, as well as a jetted garden tub. The second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, along with an adjoining bathroom, with a shower. The second bathroom also serves as the day bath. Both bathrooms provide hair dryers, and amenity kits of shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion.
The full kitchen is well stocked, with plenty of cookware and dishware provided. Appliances include stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher (with starter supplies), and microwave. Kitchen supplies also include a drip coffee maker (with starter coffee supply), blender, toaster, and tea kettle. A free in-suite washer and dryer (with starter supplies) is also available, along with an iron and ironing board.
The living room has comfortable seating for six guests. There's also a large wooden table with 6 chairs in the dining area. Flat screen televisions and ceiling fans are located in both bedrooms, the living room, as well as the den. There's also an electric fireplace in the living room, and a wet bar across from the kitchen. For those chefs who enjoy cooking on the grill, there are BBQ grills (propane tank) and picnic tables scattered throughout The Townes neighborhood. Of course, free parking and Wi-Fi access are also included at King's Creek.
King's Creek provides a wide variety of fun activities including shuffleboard, horseshoes, and miniature golf, along with a few playgrounds to enjoy. For the sports enthusiasts, the resort provides tennis courts, a basketball court, pickleball, and a well equipped fitness center.
There's also opportunities to relax, while enjoying the four pools and four jetted hot tubs. The year-round Aquatic Center contains an indoor junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and indoor jetted hot tub. In addition, men's and women's saunas are available. The resort also has an Activity Center and a Game Room, providing various craft classes, along with board games and movie rentals.
There's also plenty of sites and activities to enjoy in the Williamsburg area. Not only is the local area known for it's impressive golf courses, but also for the huge array of steak and seafood restaurants, cocktail lounges, and live entertainment.
For those visitors interested in our nation's rich history, there is Virginia's famed Historic Triangle of Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. These three cities range from 6 to 11 miles from King's Creek Resort.
Family Fun can be found at Water Country USA (< 1 mile from resort), Bush Gardens (2 miles from resort), Great Wolf Lodge (10 miles from resort) and the Williamsburg Botanical Gardens (14 miles from resort).
Last, but definitely not least, of all of the fun places you might consider visiting in the local area, don't forget the beaches! Buckroe Beach is only 30 miles away, located in Hampton, with it's wide stretch of beach on the Chesapeake Bay. If you want to stick your toes in the Atlantic Ocean, Virginia Beach is only 56 miles from the resort, complete with it's boardwalk, and famous waterfront restaurants!
Your hosts, Debbie and Lisa, are sisters whom have been traveling to Williamsburg for many years. We're always making fun new memories, with so many activities to enjoy, and historic places to visit, as well as a wide variety of restaurants for our taste pallets to investigate. We hope you'll consider booking a visit to the King's Creek Resort, enjoy our splendid “tree-top view” town home, and experience all the fun that Williamsburg, and the surrounding areas have to offer.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Armstrong

This unit is owned by two sisters, Lisa and Debbie, who are "Besties", and have been traveling together for decades. This is our first investment together in a vacation-ownership property. We've been pleasantly surprised with the variety of travel options that are now available to us as Owners, and with VRBO, as Hosts.
Why they chose this property
Of all the places my sister and I have visited over years, we have returned to the Williamsburg area the most. This particular resort got our attention because it is comprised of beautifully landscaped neighborhoods, with sections that still border forestland! With our public service occupations as a teacher and a forester, we so appreciate the privacy, as well as the scenery, of having a woodland in our backyard.
What makes this property unique
Of the three different neighborhoods available at King's Creek Resort, we like The Townes, by far, the most. They appear to be the most recently built of all the neighborhoods, and border the most woodlands. We think our unit is one of the best in The Townes because it is an End Unit, which backs up to the forest! Plus it's on the second floor, providing even more privacy since there's no chance of renters walking above your ceiling!
