Amazing, spacious home in an incredibly peaceful area. It had everything we needed (and more!) for our large group and with many things to do nearby. Highly recommend!
Fantastic rental property! -owner easy to contact and communicate with-cabin has all the essentials and a wealth of spaces and bedrooms to enjoy-amenities (hot tub, kayaks, fireplace, bar) are excellentthis was well enjoyed by our group of 12 friends--would come back again for a good WI cabin experience!
Overall the house was fine and we had a great time, however there were too many stairs to navigate. I am 80 and my wife is 78, so the number of stairs was a problem. The grounds were very nice and were lots of fun things to do.We had issue with our checkin due to miscommunication. The listing showed 3:00 PM checkin, but the cleaning crew thought they had until 4:00 PM. Consequently, the crew hurried to get done and get out of there. As a result, there were not enough clean towels ready, so my wife had to wash a load of towels to provide enough to get started. We also ran out of toilet paper during our stay. Fortunately, we brought a supply of toilet paper with us, just in case. There was plenty of space to accommodate our group of 17. I would recommend the property to anyone with a large group.
Our group had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Little Wolf Lodge. The home was beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with rustic charm. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome sign, snacks, and wine—such a delightful touch. The sleeping arrangements were perfect, with enough beds for everyone to be comfortable (no couches or futons needed!). The kitchen was impressively well stocked, equipped with every tool, plate, and piece of cutlery we could possibly need. The location was ideal—close enough to town for our planned activities, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and tranquility. We would love to return and stay again in the future.
We uad our family vacation at the Little Wolf Lodge. Our family age group of 17 ranged from 8-67. Everyone had a wonderful time at the cabin. We spent time at the campfire, in the hot tub, canoeing & paddle boarding down the river. The game room was a hit for the younger kids. The main kitchen provided everything that we needed along with a large grill that we used several times. We visited nearby Wapauca where we swam at the beach, visited the main street which had many fun shops to visit. We also hiked at Hartman Creek State Park and cliff jumped at the Red Granite quarry. Our family would highly recommend Little Wolf Lodge. We had an awesome stay!

The house is a very peaceful area and is beautiful. However, it didn’t quite meet our expectations in certain areas. First of the all, the AC was not working correctly. (They did send out someone the next day) The one laundry room was still full of dirty laundry, the grill was so disgusting that even a good burn wouldn’t of cleaned it and the outside garbage was over flowing. They do have a dumpster, but whoever stayed there last just through their stuff in the cans. Good thing, no animals got in to it. We were also disappointed about the water. For younger people, getting in and out of the water with the rocky shore may not be a problem, but our group is any where between 45-80. There was no way we could safely get in the water without slipping on the rocks. That was disappointing as well. I can’t say our stay was terrible, but after contacting the host (several times ) an apology would have been nice. Before we left, we made sure the house was clean and we even did 5 loads of sheets and towels.
