About the host
Hosted by Evie Sweeney
Hi! I'm Evie, and I'm excited to welcome you to our little piece of paradise in idyllic Solvang, California. I grew up in the Midwest before moving to Denver, and then eventually on to Santa Ynez Valley in 2008. I can tell you that this little Valley is California's best kept secret, although the word is getting out. We hope you love your visit as much as we love calling it home!
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood we live in is made up of one-acre ranchettes. It is very family-oriented and peaceful, with lots of elbow room, yet only minutes from Hwy 246, Santa Ynez, Solvang, restaurants, wineries, and markets. In the mornings, our road is full of people walking with dogs or chatting with neighbors. It is frequently warm during the day and cool at night, and on clear nights, you'll see the Milky Way glow like never before!
What makes this property unique
This little slice of coziness overlooks a valley with a great view of the Santa Ynez Mountains. You'll hear lots of birds in the mornings and crickets and owls when the sun dips. Even though you're in a neighborhood, you'll experience privacy ... everything from your parking space and entrance gate to your outdoor space and uninhibited views.
