Welcome to your sunny SoCal suite! Private queen bedroom with a great mattress, full bathroom, and your own keyless entrance — located in a quiet neighborhood just 20 minutes from San Diego beaches, downtown, SeaWorld, and the Zoo.
Pet-friendly with a small enclosed yard, plus a large park with a dog park and shaded trails just a 7-minute walk away.
You’ll also have whole-house water filtration, blackout blinds, fast Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace — ideal for a solo traveler, couple, or anyone looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to land between SoCal adventures.
The suite is attached to our home but completely private, with its own entrance and a small outdoor area. The connecting door stays locked, so there are no shared spaces.
𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁:
• One queen bedroom, full bathroom, and a hallway — designed for resting and recharging, not a hangout space (no separate living room)
• Kitchenette only — perfect for coffee, snacks, and reheating leftovers, but not a full kitchen for cooking meals
• Pet-friendly, with a small enclosed yard — your dog can step out for a potty break at 2 AM without you needing to leash up and walk the block
𝗕𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 — 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽
We invested in a real mattress (Purple), Tommy Bahama cotton sheets, four pillows (firm and soft, so you can pick), a 100% organic linen duvet, and blackout blinds — because nothing wrecks a vacation faster than a bad night's sleep on a hotel-stiff mattress with paper-thin curtains. Bedside USB and outlets so your phone is charged when you wake up. The room has a closet, a chair, and an ottoman so your suitcase isn't sprawled across the floor.
The bedroom gets beautiful sunset light and includes a real desk and office chair if you need to get work done — fast Wi-Fi makes it a real workspace, not a "use your laptop on the bed" situation. The kitchenette is also in this room (microwave, mini fridge with freezer, Keurig with K-cups, water filter, glassware, basic dishware) for easy mornings without leaving the suite.
𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 — 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁
The suite shares a wall with our home, but we've insulated and soundproofed it specifically so you can sleep in, take a quiet meeting, or unwind without hearing us. Our reviews repeatedly use the word "peaceful" — that's not by accident.
𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠
Full bathroom with shower/bathtub combo, hair dryer, and good water pressure. Safety note: the bathtub doesn't have a grab rail — please use caution if mobility is a concern.
𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘, 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 & 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 — 𝗪𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼
• Zoned HVAC with both AC and heat — you set your suite to whatever temperature you actually want to sleep in, independent of our house
• Whole-house Springwell water filtration on every tap, including the shower — drink straight from the faucet, skip the bottled water run, and notice how much better your skin and hair feel after a few days of filtered showers
• Linens washed in fragrance-free, dye-free, phosphate-free detergent with no fabric softener — better for sensitive skin and people who don't want to sleep in someone else's idea of "clean smell"
𝗪𝗜-𝗙 𝗜 — 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺
AT&T fiber — stream in 4K, take video calls, work a full day. No buffering, no excuses to cut your trip short.
𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 — 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴
A friendly, walkable neighborhood — the kind where dog-walkers say hi. 7-min walk to a large park with a dog park and shaded trails (your pup will thank you). Quick highway access puts you 20 minutes from San Diego beaches, downtown, SeaWorld, the Zoo, and Balboa Park — close enough to do everything, far enough to actually sleep at night. Free street parking right out front, no hunting for a spot after a long day.
