Charming fully equipped cottage in Valle de Guadalupe - Early check in!
Located in Valle de Guadalupe, this cabin is in the mountains. Dubacano Winery and Monte Xanic Winery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ejidal El Porvenir Park and Dona Petra Canyon Trailhead.
I tried to make the best of it but I was very disappointed with this rental. First this place is supposed to accommodate 4 people but there was only 2 towels and I rented this place for 2 nights. There was no soap or shampoo. The stove didn’t work. The hot water stopped working and couldn’t shower half the time. But the worst part was the generator shut off in the middle of the night and the place was FREEZING to the point that it was almost torture. I messaged the host and took a few hours to get someone to restart the generator with new a new propane tank. Worrying about the generator going out again in the middle of the night and whether the hot water will shut off in the middle of a shower ruined the experience along with no soap and not enough towels. The heater is only installed upstairs so the bottom floor remained freezing cold so you can’t have anyone sleeping on the first floor so it’s not made to house 4 people comfortably. Whoever sleeps on the bottom floor will be freezing cold, and dangerous in my opinion.
