The property was clean and attractive inside. The outside needs some paint and TLC. This was a last minute trip. The listing failed to mention that the closest beach access points are closed, having been washed away by hurricane and storm surge last year. This made going to the beach a hassle we didn't expect. The storage only had a couple old cheap beach chairs and some plastic sand toys. So bring or rent your own. Also not mentioned was that the tv is ROKU so no live sports and the streaming buffered and glitched pretty often. Husband was not happy. The ice maker is disabled as well. Unit is on the second floor so it's not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Other places we've stayed had some basic helpful info like how to access the beach, closest grocery, favorite restaurants, etc. We got no information at all except for the wild dunes booklet. Overall, we were a little disappointed and would probably not stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad the interior was clean and attractive, and I’m sorry the stay fell short in several areas. The beach access points you mentioned were damaged by last year’s storms and remain under restoration; I’ll make sure the listing is updated to note current access conditions and closest open entry points. I also passed your notes to the owner and maintenance about the exterior needing paint/TLC and to inspect the ice maker. The TVs are Roku/streaming only — I apologize for the buffering and glitches your husband experienced. Our team will investigate the internet/streaming performance. I also noted the limited beach chairs/toys in storage and will have the listing advise guests to bring or rent gear while we evaluate replenishing basic items. Finally, we will update the listing to clearly state that the unit is on the second floor (not suitable for guests with mobility issues) and add a local info guide with beach access, grocery, and dining recommendations.
