I recommend avoiding this property at all costs, especially in the summertime. They had me in one unit and everyday the thermostat was roughly 10 higher than the temperature it was set at. When I reached out to the management company, I was given the excuse that it’s hard for the AC unit to keep up with the Florida heat. Absolutely ridiculous. The unit at the last rental property I was at had no issue maintaining a comfortable temperature. I threatened to take legal action against them, and they moved me to another unit. Again, the same issue was happening there too. I had my dog with me, and I ended up having to pay for a sitter because he is an elderly dog and the unit got way too hot for him to stay in during the day. It’s very clear that the company running this rental does not care about providing a comfortable place for you to stay. If they did, they would invest in some air-conditioning units that will actually keep the property cool. In addition, they did not do a very good job cleaning the units either. The white shower curtain in the second unit they put me in was very dirty. I understand this rental is cheap and in a good location, but if you’re looking to stay somewhere comfortable, look elsewhere. It’s worth the higher cost. And no, they won’t compensate you for inconveniencing you either.
