Escape to this serene 3-bedroom mountain retreat, nestled in the Prospector Condominiums at the foot of Bald Mountain. With space to sleep 8, it’s the perfect getaway for families, friends, or anyone seeking a peaceful alpine stay.

Wake to the sound of the Warm Springs River, just outside your door—ideal for quiet mornings, riverside relaxation, or casting a line. After a day of mountain adventure, unwind in the hot tub steps from your front door or cozy up inside with Roku TVs on every floor.

The space:
The main floor welcomes you with a fully equipped kitchen, ready for preparing your culinary creations. The comfortable living area features a sleeper sofa with a new queen mattress, a cozy fireplace, and a 50-inch smart ROKU TV.

Upstairs, discover two bright bedrooms. The master suite boasts a luxurious king-sized bed. The second bedroom provides comfortable accommodations with two twin beds that can be pushed together to make another king.

Ascend to the third-floor loft, which features a new, full-sized bed. For your convenience, the condo includes additional smart TVs in the master bedroom and loft.

You're just a 3-minute walk to the Warm Springs lifts, Apples bar and grill, or the free shuttle to Sun Valley Village, Elkhorn, and downtown Ketchum. Onsite, enjoy a seasonal pool, kiddie pool, three hot tubs that are open year round, tennis and pickleball courts—fun in every season.

Guest access

Guests have exclusive access to the entire condo with a wraparound deck. The communal space includes free parking for up to 2 cars, 3 year-round hot tubs, and tennis and pickleball courts. Hot tubs are open daily from noon to 10pm. The swimming pool is typically open from July 1 to September 15, but can vary due to local weather.

We loved our brief stay in the Baldy Basecamp Unit. Great location. Loved that we could walk to rent our stuff and then head out to ski for the day. Also enjoyed eating at Apple's! Twice! Place was clean and welcoming. Owner was super accommodating and provided excellent communication. We appreciated the proximate location to the riverside hot tub and used that both nights. A perfect kick off weekend for our time in Sun Valley.

Cute ski cottage. Comfortable living and kitchen area. Nicely equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom and the most comfortable beds. The pool and court area is lovely. The only issue we had was the dryer didn’t work but it was scheduled to be fixed. Hopefully it will work for others. There is a coin operated laundry facility onsite. I would stay again.

Home is tastefully decorated, well laid out, and especially well provisioned with the little essentials that make a VBRO stay easy and pleasant. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions The lifts are a five minute walk away. We were four and were completely comfortable; six is doable, but you should be comfortable with close quarters and 1.5 baths.
