VERY misleading!! My family and I traveled from MS for the HBCU Swingman Classic game. Along with me was my 6 year old daughter. My god sis and I are both army vets and have been in some pretty tough spaces. This place was compared to one of those tough places. First sight of the neighborhood automatically made us very fearful, nervous, and full of anxiety. I must add that the actual address and location of the house was not provided until payment was complete. A roach greeted us at the door. The inside of the house did look as pictured, however, the sounds of the neighborhood, yelling, door slamming, stomping on the floors throughout the night, possible gunshots, someone on a loud speaker at 2am, were not at all mentioned. When speaking with the host about these issues, she wanted to know if the sounds were coming from her units or not, as if she wanted me to step into the hallway to go see. I did not like being asked to, in my opinion, place myself in the midst of anything that was going on out there!! I’ve been dealing with VRBO many years and all previous encounters or transactions have been most joyous. This complete stay was very disappointing!! Especially because I had my little girl with me who was terrified.
