The Boat House is the quintessential family retreat offering up true laid back Folly Beach vibes. Guests love the rustic nautical theme throughout the home, reminiscent of an old steamer ship that was used to construct parts of the home. There are even artifacts throughout the home of old Folly Beach businesses destroyed by hurricanes and development.

Just across the street from the beach, you are only 100 steps away from the driveway to the ocean. Three outdoor sundecks offer salty breezes and partial ocean views. Dine al fresco on the spacious porch or enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sun rise from the widows walk. Please keep in mind, the porches are exposed to weather conditions.
The red door marks the main entrance to this coastal abode. Upon entering, guests are greeted with tall ceilings, open spaces, and plenty of windows. The dining table offers ample seating and is located just off of the kitchen which resembles a ship. The cozy living room offers a comfortable couch that houses a fold out bed.

The kitchen is the most charming space in the home and is well-stocked! All appliances are stainless steel and include a gas range and oven, a dishwasher, and a freezer bottom refrigerator. The stackable washer/dryer set is also located in the kitchen.

Each bedroom comes with a private bathroom, a queen size bed, and it`s own mini-split unit so that guests can adjust the room temperature to their personal preference.

The 1st bedroom, known as the `Captain`s` quarters is located on the main floor and features an ensuite bathroom with a stand up shower, a jacuzzi tub, and a modern double vanity. The 2nd bedroom known as the `First Mate` quarters is also located on the main floor and features a stand up shower and single vanity.

To access the 3rd bedroom, guests will use the stairs where they will find an open loft area. The bedroom is just off of the loft and offers a twin bed in addition to the queen bed. The `pink` bathroom is adjoined to this bedroom and offers a tub/shower combo.

This classic Folly Beach home will offer the perfect escape for friends and family to enjoy a laid back Folly beach getaway.

No smoking, no pets, no parties or large gatherings. All guests must sign a rental contract before their stay. The guests rent the main house. At times, the home owner will be staying in a separate apartment attached to the home with no access to the renters. There is a ring camera located at the front door.
