Absolutely perfect Folly Beach stay! This house has such a cool, laid-back beach vibe and was ideal for our family. The location couldn’t be better; you’re just a block from the beach, Bert’s Market, and Chico Feo - our favorite three things about Folly. The house itself was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for an easy family beach vacation. We loved being able to walk everywhere, spend the day at the beach, and come back to a place that truly felt like a home away from home.

This location is super walkable to both the beach and the Folly Beach restaurants and shops. We were able to walk anywhere that we needed, and we found the house to be very spacious with plenty of room for 8 people to stay comfortably.

Such a lovely home! It was exactly what I was looking for a quick beach get away with my teenager and her friends. It is perfectly described on Vrbo and the hosts were very attentive. Location was perfection.

What a lovely place to stay! This house was super clean, really pretty, a really well equipped kitchen. It was super walkable to town and just a very short walk to the beach. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The on line description of this property is spot on. It’s an extremely convenient location and has every amenity most would desire. The only thing not obvious through photos and description is that one bedroom is accessible through another, so that may inconvenience some, although the room does have its own door to the outside. It’s charming and carries a bit of Folly history. Communication with the management is easy and they’re very responsive. It’s a Folly gem.

Great Location with Lots of Room

This was a wonderful location with enough bedrooms and bathrooms that everyone had their own space. The home was clean and within walking distance to town and the beach which allowed us to quickly walk to see the most beautiful sunrise!!

Beach is a very short walk away The home was immaculately clean and well equipped Owners are great to work with and have anticipated all of their guests needs We were a party of 6 adults and had plenty of space for all Love this house and love Folly!

Wonderful Week

Great little getaway! The home was just as advertised and a perfect space for our group of 7. The location is walkable to downtown, but not so close you hear it all night. The owners provide everything you need to make it comfortable and relaxing! Would absolutely stay again!

Cute Cottage

Cute cottage in a great location! Beds were very comfortable! Easy walking distance to beach and all our favorite spots in town. Fireplace is not functional, but not a big deal to us.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We just purchased a new king bed and it is oh so cozy. Great location to town and the beach, offering ease and convenience while staying on Folly. The fireplace has been retired and is simply decorative. Luckily the weather rarely calls for a fire and with our split system heating and air system, the house can maintain a comfortable environment for all. We hope you can return. Lovely homey immaculate. A real beach house with southern charm.

The house was really nicely outfitted with everything that you would ever need. No kayaks or bikes but you can rent them a stones throw away. Easy walk into town for good eats and dive surfer bars!

This is a classic beach home. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Lots of old southern charm with modern upgrades. You will not be disappointed with the decor or layout of this home. We have several companies here on the island who rent well maintained beach cruisers, paddle boards, kayaks with all safety gear, surfboards, etc. If you are looking for a rental, just give us a text, email or call and we can help point you in the right direction.

Family beach vacation

This home is beautiful and was perfect for our party of 7. My husband and I traveled with our 3 kids (8,6,&3) along with my parents. We were so comfortable and footsteps to the public beach access.

Memorable Unique Beach Home

We gathered a small group of family and celebrated life! We marveled at how cozy and pretty the home was and it had every TV ing we needed to make a fantastic shrimp and grits dinner! We also went out to the local places and of course, walked to Bert’s and Chico Feo many times. We had a blast and this special home made our stay perfect!

Joe’s Folly has all the charm of a vintage beach cottage with all the modern updates you’ll need. Location is perfect for walking everywhere and communication was responsive and friendly! We highly recommend!
