At almost 3,000 square feet with cathedral ceilings, there is plenty of room to spread out. Enjoy the lake, woods and local attractions. Swim off the pirate boat dock. Hike on property or local trails. Star gaze around the fire pit. Your cabin is within 45 minutes of Canada, the 1000 Islands and just over an hour to the Adirondacks. With a king bed, two twin beds, and a pull out bed this spacious property provides a for a luxurious stay. Enjoy the game room, jetted bathtub, hot tube, free WiFi, AC/Heating patio and balcony during your visit. Relax in the living room or get some work done in the office space with a bird's eye view of the woods and lake. We are local and available to answer any questions during your stay. We are pet friendly (dogs limited two). We are your Pleasant Lake home away from home.

About the host

Welcome to our pleasant paradise. My husband (Michael ) and I (Barbara) have been in the area for over 40 years. We live at Pleasant Lake, down the road from the Cabin. We are happily retired with chickens. You will most likely find me on the pickleball court, hiking, gardening or playing with our chickens. You will find Michael flying his plane, building/working on planes or tinkering in the wood shop. We both love a peaceful sunset after an active day.
Why they chose this property
Centrally located in Upstate New York between Gouverneur and Black Lake, the Cabin provides guests a relaxing retreat with the option for many adventures. Guests are treated to panoramic lake views out of the cathedral windows. A private dock is available from Mid-May to Mid-September. Pleasant Lake is a hidden gem. It is spring feed so very clean. The fishing is amazing and fish are restocked each year. During the summer, fish off the dock. During the winter, the public access dock is just around the corner. The ice fishing is so good that each year in February a derby occurs. The property is more than eight acres and exclusively yours (I may wonder the back part but a guest has yet to see me). The large lawn allows for fun play or sitting around the fire pit. If you need to work, the loft provides a nice office space with a desk looking out the cathedral windows. The game room includes a large TV, PacMan video game, pool table that converts into pingpong and tons of games. No matter the season or weather there is something luxurious to do at the Pleasant Lake Cabin. Join us where pleasure, peace and paradise meet!
