A lot of times, the pictures misrepresent the surrounding area. But the views were beautiful—the property is near the top of a mountain. Nikki was extremely responsive in addressing any concerns. If we ever return to the area, we would absolutely book again!

Everything was Good only thing it’s i don’t see about the message about to get 4x4 car or truck and its was bad the first trip , But iff you don’t have 4x4 car you can put you car on low speed or L on you car and it’s Good no issues

This was a fabulous place to stay! Close to Asheville, Great Smokey Mtns, Biltmore, Blue Ridge, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and so much more. It was super clean and had everything we needed from games to cooking to hanging out. The view is awesome. The sky is dark at night for stargazing, and it is very quiet at night. The owner was quite responsive. If the opportunity presents, I would 100% rent this property again.

Beautiful mountain getaway, still close to Asheville

The house is newly renovated and beautifully situated on top of a mountain, providing stellar views! We drove each morning to a different hike and checked out excellent restaurants in Asheville throughout our stay. The house was perfect for our young kids as well.

Great view, 10 min. to Ashville

Great view and short drive to Ashville. Very nice rental, coming up the mountain a little rough if your vehicle has a low clearance.

Wonderful mountain home

Beautiful home with fantastic views! Comfortable beds, great kitchen and baths and the best porch to just relax on! Highly recommended this home. Owner very accommodating and easy to contact. Overall we give it a 10

Peaceful Place away from it all yet all the comforts of home!

Spent a long weekend over the New Year and had a nice relaxing time. Close to all the attractions but with a nice place to come back to unwind and relax. The owners were great to work with anytime I had a question Shawn got right back to me which was great and we had no issues with the property. Very clean and comfortable beds which is a plus when traveling.

Perfect Family Vacation!

Majestic Mountain offered us the retreat we were looking for! The views were outstanding and the home was the perfect size for our family of four. Although we felt away from the world on top of that mountain we were only a short drive to everything, including a grocery store, downtown, Biltmore and Pisgah. The drive up was a bit daunting for these Floridians but we got used to it.

Amazing home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home was perfect & very comfortable for all 6 of us. Easy access to downtown Asheville while enjoying the peace & quiet of a mountain retreat. The wrap around deck is so beautiful, perfect spot for morning coffee, evening glass of wine. The views are amazing! We would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting the area! Owner Shawn is very responsive & helpful.

Summer 2019

Shawn's cabin was just what we were looking for. It was clean which was our number 1 priority. The location was remote, which is what we wanted and the view spectacular. We were there on the 4th of July and saw fireworks of the whole valley.

Mountain Stay

The house was beautiful, hidden gem. It was away from the hustle and bustle of town. Close to Asheville. Must have a four wheel or all wheel to get up as the owner stated. It was worth the drive up. The porch was amazing. Thank you so much for our stay.

Epic weekend

Fall in the Western NC mountains is amazing and staying at this place was icing on the cake. It was a great mountain get away. Definitely want a vehicle that’s good on steep dirt roads. My Grand Cherokee was just fine.

Nice view!

The property was clean and nicely decorated! The patio deck is great for waking up in the morning and enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Everything was as described accurately on the website. Great communication from the property owner! Will rent again!
