Beautiful setting with vast mountain views and nicely appointed accommodations. The cabin had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The gorgeous meadow flowers surrounding each cabin provides privacy between cabins while giving a lovely scene. Enjoyed meandering through the wildflower paths to sit along the Red River in the beach chairs provided.

Thanks so much for the lovely review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the mountain views and that the cabin had everything you needed for your stay. The wildflowers are so pretty this time of year, so it’s great to hear you enjoyed them too. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another relaxing stay.
Great communication. Very easy check in and check out process. Amazing location, with lots to do between hiking, fishing, hanging out by the outdoor fire, or relaxing in the hot tub. My daughters loved the in wall bunk beds, but there was a lot of flies, easily managed with a couple fly swatters. Could use some more cooking supplies and toilet paper, but they had all the basics. Great place, would definitely stay again.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the cabin, especially the outdoor spaces and the bunk beds — they’re always a hit with kids! We appreciate your feedback about the kitchen supplies and toilet paper and will be sure to restock those areas. Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d love to welcome you and your family back anytime!
Cabin was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We did have a problem with the microwave in the cabin we stayed in but they let us move to another cabin. We are thinking about coming back to the same place to stay again later in the future. Winter isn't the best time to stay in this area only because many stores and restaurants are closed for the season because their tourist attractions are mostly spring and summer time friendly activities. Still had a good time even with so many things closed.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear you found the cabin beautiful, clean, and well-equipped for your stay. We appreciate your understanding regarding the microwave issue and are glad we were able to quickly move you to another cabin so you could continue enjoying your time with us.
You’re absolutely right—winter is a quieter season in the area, but we’re happy to hear you still had a good time despite some seasonal closures. We’d love to welcome you back, especially during spring or summer when more attractions and restaurants are open. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to host you again in the future!
The house had everything we needed for a quick get away. I love the aesthetics of the house and its smart use of space. The area was great for a brisk morning walk or run and close to both Natural Bridge and RRG.

Hey Sara, Thanks so much for the wonderful review! Welcome back to any of our RRG Getaway cabins anytime!
Moonrise Meadow is in a great location for visiting the Red River Gorge area. It sits between Stanton and Slade. The cabin is nestled in the valley with multiple other rentals around, but with enough space between them for privacy. The road getting back to Moonrise Meadow is an adventure in itself. The road is paved, but narrow and hilly. We advise arriving before dark. The house is very well designed with modern decor, yet is very cozy. The queen bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. The hot tub on the back deck is perfect for stargazing! Mandy is an excellent host and communicates very well. She is quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Moonrise Meadow and Three Suns Cabins.

Thank you for the wonderful review Stacey! We’re so glad you enjoyed Moonrise Meadow’s cozy, modern feel and its convenient location near Red River Gorge. It’s great to hear the kitchen and comfy bed met your expectations. We're especially happy you took advantage of the hot tub and the beautiful stargazing opportunities!
We appreciate your tip about arriving before dark — definitely helpful for future guests. Thank you as well for your kind words about our communication; it truly means a lot. We're thrilled you’d recommend Moonrise Meadow and Three Suns Cabins, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
Beautiful modern cabin in a valley with foggy mountains all around. There is a trail mowed through tall grasses and goldenrods that leads to a wooded section with hammocks and down to a beach next to the river. The cabin was very clean with all the typical amenities. Hot tub was crystal clear and we enjoyed being able to go straight out of our room to the hot tub after kids went to sleep. The kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. Our 6 year old really liked the ladder and hole to crawl through. The 3 year old did fall out of the bottom bunk once trying to go to the bathroom because it is pretty tall. We pulled the ottoman over as a step which worked well. The owner was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to messages. We had no issues during our stay. A flyer was sent that had a lot of local places to eat and things to do. Down the road is a place to get firewood, coffee, and donuts. There are several places to eat within 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed Toads bar and grill. Miguel's for pizza is a local staple and highly recommended.

It sounds like you made the most of your stay exploring local spots too — Toad’s and Miguel’s are great choices! We appreciate your note about the bunk bed setup and are glad the ottoman worked well as a step. We’d love to welcome you all back again soon!
