The property was really great. One of the most equipped properties we ever stayed at. They thought of everything you might need. I was even able to zest lemon!
This was our second time at Judy’s place. She was very responsive to our needs and questions. The place is cozy and comfortable with nice outdoor space. Tha kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking. Very convenient location near Orange Ave with all the restaurants and shops. An extra bonus were two e-bikes.
My Mom stayed there for 6 weeks as a test for if she like to stay in Coronado full time. The unit was spacious, clean, very private, wonderful accommodations and 2 nice balconies. No issues. Highly recommend!
Judy’s place was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants, and grocery store. We walked our dog to the dog beach every day- it took about 15 minutes but it was a great walk through cute neighborhoods. Place was spotless and we loved the sun roof. Would definitely stay here again!
I don’t want to brag how wonderful this home is or we will never get our dates again to stay. Beyond lovely. Great location! Really wonderful! Hope to make this an annual stay. Only compliment is not long enough could stay for months. Thank you so much!
Great place to stay. Everything was as advertised. The house is centrally located on the island making it very convenient to walk to restaurants as well as the grocery store. One block off of Orange Ave on D also makes it very quiet. The home clean and well stocked with additional linens and towels. Garage is a little tight for a full sized SUV but plenty of street parking out front. Would definitely rent this property again.
This home is very spacious and has everything you can possibly need for a long stay. A large grocery store is walking distance away. You can basically park your car and walk or bus anywhere on the island.
Beds are super comfortable and the rooftop deck is amazing with views of downtown San Diego skyline and a fire pit for those cool evenings.
We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home.
Second time in this unit. Everything was the same or better this time around. Unit is close to everything we like to do. It was a pleasure to return. Jim R.
Comfortable, clean, remarkably quiet and conveniently located
The condo is as-described and is comfortable and well-appointed. The location is safe, walkable to the shops and restaurants, the beach and the Hotel Del, and only a short block to the bus stop. Access is easy, either from the main door at the side of the house or through the garage. The bedrooms and common rooms are on the second floor; access is up a flight of stairs. The roof deck is accessible up exterior stairs from a balcony. The kitchen appliances are very functional, with a large fridge/freezer. There is plenty of cookware. The unit sleeps four maximum, in two beds, and seats four at the dining table. Judy is an attentive host. I recommend reading her instructions for arrival carefully so as to be able to easily identify the building and the best way to access the condo. Thanks, Judy for sharing the lovely condo with us.
Overall, this was a nice place to stay, but there were some issues.
The Good: The condo is modern, there is plenty of room for 2-4 people and the location as mentioned above is right near the heart of Coronado. Dining, movies and shopping are all less than a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the necessary accoutrements. The back balcony is a great place for outdoor meals and the rooftop deck is both private and outfitted with lots of comfy seating choices. It is a great place to relax with a cold beverage.
The bad: The place is very nice, but slowly getting beat up by a steady stream of renters. The condo is behind the police station and a block away from the fire department, so you will hear sirens. While the pictures show a gas bbq, currently there is only a charcoal grill and this is really unacceptable in a city as nice as Coronado. We had planned to barbecue 2-3 times a week, but in the end did not use the grill once. :( Additionally, while the post claims that there is satellite/cable, there is not. It is Roku and bring your own streaming. This is fine for the under 30 crowd, but it would have been nice to watch a Padre game or two, but it was unavailable to us.
The Ugly: The tandem parking garage. If you drive a Mini Cooper or have somehow managed to acquire and old circus clown car, you will be fine. Otherwise, you should not even try to use it. It is hard to get into because it is very narrow. Literally, you cannot park in it and open doors on both sides of the car. Additionally, you will have to back the car out every time you want to hop onto the bikes because there is not enough room to get by. And if you leave the bikes in the back, then you have to move them to get the car out. The good news is that you do not need to use the garage as there was, generally, plenty of parking on the street out front.

July is a very busy month in Coronado. I or my guests have never complained about sirens but perhaps July is different. The parking is squeezy. Usually people park one car in and put the bicycles that I supply in back of that car. He is correct. Even in July there is lots of parking. A gas grill is at the house now. It is new and the charcoal one is there as well for those that like charcoal. I don't like to bother vacationers so when the gas one went out the previous month we waited to put the new one up on the deck until August. Please those of you who rent, you must let the property manager or myself if you are disappointed in anything. It will be fulfilled. I have been short term renting for 8 years with only 5 star ratings. I am sorry this vacationer did not inform us of any concerns.
This was our 3rd. time to stay in Judy's townhouse. We have always found it a very comfortable place to stay. It is well equipped and conveniently located with just anything you might want within walking distance.
I’m so happy we got to stay here. I loved the deck spaces. The closets were spacious enough to put all our stuff away. This is a very comfortable place to be and centrally located to visit anywhere in the island by foot or bike. Plenty of bikes and boogie boards and even beach chairs. Grocery store is close by to grab whatever you need. Thank you!
This was our second time staying in this property. It is very comfortable and well furnished. Judy is delightful to work with. It is conveniently located with everything you might need within walking distance.
We love this condo for many reasons. It's in beautiful condition and has everything you need for cooking, sleeping, and going to the beach. We also use the two bicycles every day. It's in a great location for kids, very close to Spreckels park playground and to the library. Very nice host as well.
My wife and I have been staying at various VRBO properties in the San Diego area for about 12 years. My wife said this is the most comfortable place we have stayed in. The location is great with Vons just around the corner and just about anything you might want within walking distance. The property is very well equipped and Judy was great to work with answering any questions almost immeadiately.
This is the 2nd time I rented this condo, located just one block from Orange Avenue and within walking distance to the beach and bay, and convenient to dozens of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the rooftop deck with the fire pit, and the fireplace in the great room on chilly January mornings. Owner accommodated our two small dogs, and was responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed using the two bikes owner left for us in the garage. We enjoyed our time here.
