Enjoyed to very quiet and peaceful location. The fully stocked kitchen (soda, baked goods, yougurt, fruit bowl, etc) was a hit. We snacked and watched the deer in the wooded area off the back of the house for hours. Loved it!

Beautiful home and outdoor accommodations. House was set back from road with a beautiful deck and outdoor accommodations fire pit area with access to the water. So peaceful. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen and living space were supplied with everything you need to be comfortable. It truly was a home away from home.

This house and the host were both fantastic. The host responded in a very prompt manner. The house was gorgeous and had plenty of different seating options for socializing both indoor and outdoor. We unfortunately were there on a rainy weekend, but the lake was only a few steps away and I'm sure it's very nice to be on the water on a sunny day. I would definitely book again and recommend this place!

Of all our vacation rentals, this was one of the best. The kitchen was very well equipped with great appliances and even sharp knives. The setting was peaceful with visits from a deer family including a large rack buck and roosters crowing. Beach towels, yoga mat, and games were readily available. One of our party is in a power wheelchair and needs a hoist to get into bed. We brought our own hoist and ramp for the front door (9 inch step) and were able to manage just fine. We think we could have hoisted him into the tub, but didn't try. A shower wheelchair could access the open shower.Aline was extremely responsive and helpful.

Wow! Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. So inviting and calming as you enter, beautiful view to the woods and a peek at the lake from the front door. So muchs space to sit and have time with family. Beds are great, nice to have 2.5 bathrooms, and the furnishings are to dye for. So well done. Owner is a great communicator as well. Downtown Gainsville really surprised me, outstanding food options and cute boutiques. I would highly recommend the Lake House!
