The Barnes cottage was large, well appointed, and tucked inside a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room at the end of the day. The kitchen was well-equipped and having a full size washer and dryer allowed us to pack lighter. The beds were very comfortable. Having two bathrooms upstairs (one is fully remodeled and quite lovely) and a powder room on the main floor was convenient. My husband and I (both retired) had no trouble navigating the spiral staircase, but anyone with mobility issues might struggle. Based on a review posted in the spring, I was concerned about the possibility of mold and mildew smells, but we detected none—and I gave an allergy to both. The cottage is located two blocks from the Hammersmith Bridge and many buses that run often. There is a pub a block away, a number of restaurants and cafes nearby, and small stores with groceries and fresh produce. The area is safe and we would definitely return.

This was a great stay near Richmond, close enough to the tube, quiet, and awesome pubs and coffee shops less than a five minute walk away.

Great Location and Nice Host

The living area is lovely and overall it was a comfortable stay. The towels/linens could do with replacement and the place could use a nice dusting to remove cobwebs, but it was generally good.

Wonderful stay in Barnes apartment

A very spacious apartment in a great location. Just a short 20min walk to the Hammersmith tube station as well as lots of shops and eating places. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were very comfortable.

Wimbledon Get-a-way

We booked this property for a visit to Wimbledon, and it was an excellent choice. It’s in a great location and is easily walkable to the foot bridge and a few nice restaurants, and had great access to Uber and local busses.The house was spacious and felt comfortable to live in. It was exactly as advertised and we would absolutely book it again.

Great place

We loved this place. There is plenty of room for a small group to sleep and a dining room table and living room where they can gather to eat, talk or play games. Its also a great spot to stay in London without being in the busy center of the city. Easily within walking distance to buses or the tube.

This was a real gem in a great spot in Barnes. It felt like a home away from home and we stayed here twice in our recent trip to London. Our host was the best and we will be recommending this place to all our friends. We will be back.

Fantastic Host and Place

The host Farid, is probably the best communicator and helpful person you will find. The place is tucked away and quiet. It has good access to get into central London an the local area of Barns and Hammersmith has lots to do and some great bars and restaurants.

Comforts of home

What a great location for families and for anyone who wants a quite stay. Being so close to the Hammersmith bridge was perfect. I will definitely be coming back. The owner was always easy to contact which was very helpful.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect location to catch the Tube into the City or a match at Craven Cottage. Living area was spacious and great for a family with teens. Would return in a heartbeat!

London Visit

House was perfect for four people. Quiet neighborhood with a short ride into London. A number of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Only thing needed is some outlets in the bathrooms.
