About this property
Ocean Blue — Direct Beach Access
Welcome to "Ocean Blue," a little slice of paradise. Nestled right up against the beach, this cheerful 3-bedroom, 1-bath cottage offers laid-back coastal living in Point Roberts with vibrant Key West charm. Wake up to the sound of waves and sip your morning coffee just steps from the ocean. This cozy, sun-drenched cottage features bright, beachy decor, colorful accents, and breezy open spaces— an ideal backdrop for making unforgettable memories.
Welcome to Ocean Blue!
We’re so happy to welcome you to a place that means the world to us.
This little cedar cottage by the sea is more than just a home— it’s the realization of a dream more than 20 years in the making. We first saw her in April 2024 and instantly fell in love with the quiet, the stillness, and the way nature seems to gather here— from soaring eagles and curious seals to sea lions, cranes, seagulls, joyful little songbirds, and even whales passing just out front. There’s something magnetic about the water’s edge here.
Through a combination of hard work and a little luck, Ocean Blue became ours on May 31.
Built in 1968, she carries a unique kind of magic— one we feel in the stillness of early mornings and the fiery colors of sunset that close each day.
We hope you feel it too.
The ocean here is never the same. Sometimes it’s calm and serene; other times, it’s wild and powerful. The tides move in and out twice a day— check the Point Roberts Tide Schedule to time your walks or swims. If you’re seeking solitude, Ocean Blue is the perfect private retreat.
And if you feel like a wide, sandy beach to explore or swim, head to South Beach at low tide— just a 15-minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive away. There, you’ll find endless shoreline with several locals.
Our deck is one of our favorite spots to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. It’s ideal for watching passing boats— powerboats, sailboats, and even the salmon fisheries in the fall. You might see our neighbors paddleboarding by, or just catch the rhythm of life on the water.
Please enjoy our home as your own.
From our private beach only steps away, to the fire table, BBQ, and all that Point Roberts has to offer— we hope your stay is filled with peace, beauty, and moments you’ll remember.
A few small notes to help you settle in:
- The ocean air can be damp— please bring the outdoor cushions in each night so they’re dry in the morning.
- The lights by the sliding door will automatically light the front step at night.
Feel free to plug in the patio string lights to enjoy a warm, cozy evening outdoors.
- There is strictly no use of the indoor fireplace. For safety reasons, this is for owner use only.
- Please be mindful of noise— some of our neighbors live here year-round, and we ask that you respect the peace and quiet that makes this place so special.
Welcome to Ocean Blue!
May your time here be restful, joyful, and just a little unforgettable.
