Didn’t even stay the first night, had to get a hotel. Flies everywhere in the kitchen, unsanitary. Note the outdoor bug zapper in the middle of the kitchen.

Our property is professionally cleaned before every guest arrival, and cleanliness is one of our highest priorities. As with many homes in our area, an occasional insect may enter when doors are opened and screens are not utilized.The insect trap mentioned is a preventative device used to help manage seasonal insects and is not an indication of unsanitary conditions. Although you chose not to stay, we honored your decision and provided a full refund immediately .We wish you had contacted us before leaving so we could have addressed your concerns then.

My family and I have been staying at The Great Escape on Clayton Road for the past four years, and it has become our favorite home away from home. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. It’s peaceful, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and truly feels like our own private retreat.From the moment you arrive, you feel at ease. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the home is beautifully maintained, and every amenity you could need is thoughtfully provided. This year, they even added a coffee maker, which was such a wonderful bonus for us.One of the biggest highlights is the breathtaking view. Photos simply cannot capture how beautiful this property really is. If you’re lucky enough to stay over the Fourth of July, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. You can see fireworks and drone shows across San Jose from the property, making it one of the most spectacular places to celebrate the holiday.I also love that there is a piano in the house. As someone who enjoys playing, it makes every stay even more special. The heated pool is fantastic, and having a sauna is another luxury that sets this place apart. The surrounding countryside, with horses grazing nearby, creates a peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find so close to the city. Most importantly, Mason is an exceptional host. He is always quick to respond, genuinely cares about his guests, and goes above and beyond to make every stay memorable. Can’t wait to be back and make more memories with my family.
