Escape to the Foothills of Tennessee and Enjoy Year Round Water. Have your morning coffee and watch the sunrise while relaxing on our deck, fish off our private dock or rent a boat from the nearby marina and enjoy a day of fun on the water. We also have plenty of space to park multiple trailers, so be sure to bring down your ATVs and boats!
The property currently has an incline to the lake, and while this is very common at Norris Lake, it may not be for everyone. The steps are suitable for our family members ages 4 - 70. However, a new tram has been installed and is available to renters, which eliminates the need to use the steps. For those who are not familiar with a tram, it’s like an elevator on the lake, and will allow groups up to 4 people + bags/coolers to travel to and from the dock. The steps will remain available but will not be maintained.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is immaculate, has all kinds of necessities, the patio was a fav with the tv and speakers for music, and the kitchen had everything one would need. Any question was answered immediately, if we had any, and I would totally book this place again... hoping in fact to book again for next year.

Thanks Amanda for the kind words, we love when our guests enjoy their stay! We would love to host you again!
We had an amazing weekend. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. However, the listing and pictures seemed a little deceiving as it was listed as 4 bedrooms. It was actually 3 bedrooms and a loft area.
Everything was fine,
2 suggestions: Provide instructions on how to use fireplace, and insure outdoor activities are available
( ie: even though weather changing, we would liked to have used kayaks, which were available, but no paddles)
Thanks!
Everything was just as listed and my friends and I had a blast. The view was amazing and the cabin felt secluded. Plenty of space and was very clean. A great place to stay all around!
While the cabin was not dirty, it was obviously not thoroughly cleaned either. Here are a few examples: There were sticky pop/coffee ring stains on the end table of our bedroom; We found several pieces of cookware & dishes that were put away dirty; the outdoor grills, & especially the flat grill, were pretty disgusting, etc. BUT.....the ICE MACHINE kinda made up for all of that! Overall it was a great place to stay & we all really enjoyed it.
The picturesque property was both comfortable and homey while being beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed! The beds were comfortable, the lights were lovely, the AC was strong, and the ice maker was a must have!!! We had so much fun taking the tram down to the dock and enjoyed the deck overlooking the water. We spent some time enjoying the space and also went out on the lake with a rental boat from the twin cove marina! Trisha and Greg were great hosts and quick with communication - thanks so much for having us!

We are so glad your enjoyed the space! Thank you for the kind words!
This cabin was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! Lots of space, stocked kitchen for cooking, ice machine was key and a beautiful place on the lake!
We had a nice visit to this cabin on Lake Norris. The lake is beautiful! The owner, Trisha was very easy to communicate with. The large outdoor ice machine was a nice addition.
The house was the perfect size for us, everyone had privacy. The upper level deck was great, used it every day. Property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this property to others.
Beautiful home and we'll thought out ammenities for this home. Only down side was the climb up from the lake and I do mean a climb. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a great week on Norris lake. The house was perfect for our group. They had all the baby gear which made packing easier. The steps down to the lake are a bit challenging (watch out for older/less mobile people) but we had a great time boating and hanging out on the dock. Thanks for a great stay!

Spring Break Getaway
The cabin was exactly as pictured - it was clean and well maintained. It had a great layout, perfect for our two families with teenagers. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, which we did every day. Cathy was very helpful - responsive to questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend this property!
We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space to play games, sleep, eat, and have fun! eating on the porch in the evening was a lovely ambient and delightful. Ice machine came in handy for our day on the lake. we also enjoyed the kayaks. The stairs were an extra workout needed for our delicious dinners fresh from the double oven, nice size grill, and robust gas stove. a great place for family getaway!
Nice layout of cabin. With leaves on plenty of privacy.
Everything we needed was supplied. Plenty of hot water for showers, a must when returning from a day of trail riding. 20minute plus ride to trail system. Plenty of room for parking. Property manager was friendly and easy to communicate with.
The house was great. Plenty of space for everyone in the living/kitchen area. The kitchen had everything we needed plus. The beds were super comfortable and the 3 floors gave everyone their own space. The kids loved the downstairs area. Loved the decks!. The only drawback was the steps to the lake which was not practical for some. Overall the place was very clean and as nice as it looked in pictures. We would definitely stay there again if the tram is installed.
We booked a trip down from Kentucky to do some riding on TWRA & Windrock. The parking was sufficient for 2 trailers with plenty of parking left.
As soon as you pull up you see the cabin and lake. The outside was well maintained. Inside the cabin had everything you could need. Our kids enjoyed the boards games and card games that were there as well as the downstairs entertainment area.
The walk down to the lake was a long one but it’s so peaceful and pretty you kind of forget about.
Overall we had a blast and would definitely book again.
We stayed here to ride ATV trails. The location is a little far for that but we made it work. The property is beautiful and was the perfect size for our large group. The kids has a blast playing outside. There is plenty of seating for meals or hanging out. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kids loved the wii in the basement living area. The property is well upkept. There is endless hot water!! Overall, we loved it and would be happy to stay again even though it was a little further from the trails than we thought.
My friends and I spent two nights in this cabin and it was very good experienc. It is clean and spacious. The thermostat stopped working the late night during our last night, so it was a little be cold giving the cold weather. We contacted the owner in the morning and got a very qucik response. Trisha also tried everything to solve the issue. happy with the quick response. definitely recommned it.
Overall, this lake house was exactly as described and we had a great time. A couple things the host could do to improve the stay would be to provide a couple basics in the cabin. Things like laundry supplies, hand soap, extra paper towels etc. Beach towels would also be nice; we had to go buy some. Also just as an fyi, there are 151 stairs down to the dock; this would be a difficult trek if you’re not in decent shape. Good news is you get a workout every day you’re on vacation without a gym.

About the host
Hosted by Trisha & Greg
We have been vacationing with our friends and family to various lakes our entire lives. While the lakes in Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky, all offer something unique, nothing captured our attention like the first time visiting Norris Lake. During our first trip to Norris Lake, with a group of our friends, we immediately fell in love with the clean water and mountain views.
By the end of the trip, we knew this was the place we wanted to call our second home. In the coming months, we worked hard to make that dream a reality. We truly appreciate the journey, the friendship, and the memories to come.
We are excited to share our home with you, and provide a place for you and your loved ones to make your own memories. We hope to hear from you, and thank you for stopping in!
Why they chose this property
We are just minutes off of I-75, but our property sits on an acre of land, with a beautiful view of Norris Lake. Plenty of space to feel secluded, yet close to everything you need.
