A Great Space with Some Notable LimitationsOur extended family of eight had a very pleasant week-long stay at this rental. The home itself is spacious and comfortable, offering a wonderful setting for a family trip. We especially appreciated the generous size of the living areas, the beautifully maintained yard, and the comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The abundance of fresh towels and the convenience of the covered carport entry were also significant plusses. Our host was also exceptionally responsive to our needs, which made our stay much smoother. However, there are a few important points for future guests to consider. The property is located about 100 yards from a railway crossing, and we were frequently disturbed by the blaring train horn, which sounded several times an hour throughout the day and night.Additionally, while the home can accommodate a large group, the dining and kitchen amenities are limited. There were only three chairs at the island bar, meaning the rest of our group had to use an uncomfortable couch for meals. The kitchen supplies are also very basic, lacking common appliances like a toaster, blender, or mixer. While this didn't significantly impact our stay since we didn't cook many large meals, a group of 8people planning to dine in would find it very challenging. Finally, we noticed that several interior doors did not close completely. This rental served its purpose well for our family's visit, but guests should be aware of the limitations
