This was the perfect location for our event at the Convention Center, right across the road. Near to good restaurants and services too. It’s a nice home for a family, nice quiet neighbors too.

Pros:Super clean, easy parking, king bed, excellent AC. Good central location for national parks. Took 45 min to the Sequoia entrance, and 1 hour 10 min to the King's Canyon entrance. Within walking distance to downtown/lots of restaurants.Cons: It's a duplex, and the walls aren't super thick, so you can definitely hear neighbor's conversations, etc. Also it felt a bit lacking in amenities for a group of four. For example: there was one tiny mirror in the only bathroom. Putting up a mirror in the living room or one of the bedrooms would make life so much easier. Also there were only 3 spoons. We did reach out about needing more toilet paper, and the host was quick to reply and had some dropped off at the door. My kids thought it was hilarious that the house had 3 spoons and 3 televisions. A 1:1 spoon:tv ratio feels unusual. :)

We rented this property as we were hiking in Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs. 35 minutes to Sequoia gate. 1 hour to Kings Canyon via 63/180. Close to Walmart for groceries and personal needs. (one mile) Black Bear Diner is a must! Visalia is a very nice town. Regal is a very nice movie theatre close by. All neighbors were friendly. Host’s response was always prompt. Property was very clean and has washer and dryer if you want to pack light and wash. Kureig coffee maker and microwave. Google TV. All in all a good place to rent.

Good overall. Could have a few more amenities such as a chair in the bedrooms, just some minor things like that. House was comfortably cool.
