Beautiful, well equipped villa in a perfect location

The villa itself is beautiful, probably one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items and everything you could need during your stay. It was cleaned thoroughly twice a week with bathroom towels, beach towels and bedding changed on each occasion making it feel more like a hotel than a self catering Villa. Some basic food & cleaning items were also provided. The location is perfect, extremely quiet with sea views and 3 restaurants within easy walking distance even for my 80 year old parents. Fresh veg and bread (especially loved the sugared doughnuts!) were available daily from sellers who stopped right outside the villa gate. Plenty of other restaurants within 20 minutes drive. The local beach, which is opposite the villa was good for my husband & I but my elderly parents couldn't get in the water due to the stony beach which was such a shame as once you get about 6ft into the water it is beautiful soft sand.Ria was a perfect host, very informative in the lead up to the holiday and when we arrived she was attentive and a friendly face whenever we needed her but was never overbearing. She is understandably very proud of the Villa and Crete and was happy to share useful recommendations of places to visit. We had 2 very minor issues during the holiday and both were resolved extremely quickly and did not affect our stay at all. we had a fantastic holiday and would happily return to the villa if we get the chance. The Best!

The villa really is as lovely as everyone says, but what sets it apart from many villas we've stayed in was how well equipped it was. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen, lovely showers (the outdoor one a real positive) and a great outdoor area with so much space. Villa Liakada - June Vacation

We have just returned from a wonderful two week stay in Villa Liakada, Drapanias, a sleepy resort ideal for relaxing. Eleni and her husband were perfect hosts and provided a welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated and also gave us gifts when we left. Eleni kindly picked us up and returned us to the pick up points for the coach travel back to the airport.The villa is beautifully presented and is perfectly located with the sea just 30 feet or so away. The pool area is superb and very relaxing. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance and also a small mini market. Kissamos is a charming little town with lovely restaurants on the sea front and is approx 5 kms away and easily reached by taxi for 10 Euros. We would certainly recommend a stay in Villa Liakada.

Perfect in every way!

This is a wonderful place for large groups. We were a family group aged between 15 and 76. We have been on many holidays together but everyone agreed that this was the best yet! The villas are so well equipped, the pool and garden areas are delightful and would also be suitable for younger children. It was perfect. We were all together, but had our own space too. Maria and her husband went above and beyond to help my mother with a medical issue and we were so grateful. Exceptional service - thank you so much. We all hope to visit again in the future 😊

A beautiful and well-managed villa

This is a five star villa. It’s in a great location, with stunning views across the olive trees and down to the sea. The pool is fantastic and the villa had a lot of nice touches that made our stay feel luxurious. On arrival, the villa was well-stocked with all the essentials, plus some extra treats such as olive oil from the surrounding grove and a homemade cake and honey. Errika and family are very attentive and responded quickly to any queries. During our two week stay, they cleaned the pool and villa regularly and delivered homemade treats, which were very welcome. However I should mention that our experience was that the villa was not as peaceful and quiet as we would have liked as there is a large villa right next door which accommodates 12 people, and we found they often stayed out late talking and playing music. But all in all it’s a wonderful villa.

If this was my home, i'd never leave!

We were a group of 11 adults and 7 children, the 4 villas were more than accommodating with Maria kindly checking with us in advance the sleeping arrangements, cots, beds and high chairs required. Outside of the villas we had a spectacular pool, many loungers and umbrellas for shade as well as patio furniture for all meals, we only went indoors to shower and sleep. The next level beyond gave a safe play area for the children and a games table for us to watch them safely from. Having a BBQ was a luxury we indulged. The abundant local markets as well as restaurants near the beach made it convenient for us. For many of us it was our first time in Crete, the glorious sunshine was best enjoyed as there were no mosquitoes, wasps and flies to bother us. The cleaner came daily and ensured we never lost anything that may have got mislaid. We look forward to our next group vacation after this relaxing break. Thank you
