Fully Renovated Waterfront Condo on Isla del Sol

Isla del Sol is a beautiful island community on a tropical barrier island at the southernmost tip of St. Petersburg, one mile from St. Petersburg Beach. This fourth floor renovated condo is highlighted by stunning views of Boca Ciega Bay. There are brilliant views of the intracoastal waterway with all the boating and wildlife known to the area.

The open floor plan has a magnificent full water view with an updated kitchen overlooking a fabulous living area. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and opens to a dining area and living room leading to a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the calm waters of the bay and gorgeous sunsets.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and is updated with a custom designed walk-in closet with plenty of storage and a beautiful, marble en-suite bathroom with two sinks. The master bedroom has access to the same balcony as the living area with the same beautiful views.

The guest room also has a king-sized bed and upgraded full second bath.

For your added convenience, there are televisions in both bedrooms as well as the living area, a full-sized washer and dryer, an assigned parking space, and an elevator.

This island community has beautiful tropical landscaping, heated pool, spa, clubhouse, fitness center, and water views everywhere you look. It is home to the Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club which offers membership packages to meet the unique needs of seasonal guests. The island is just minutes from the warm turquoise waters of St. Pete Beach, the most southern link in a chain of barrier islands that make up the Tampa Bay Suncoast. The condo is just minutes from the attractions of Fort de Soto Park, named one of the Nation's Best Beaches. The park includes ferry service to Egmont Key, campgrounds, fishing piers, beaches, and wildlife.

A little piece of paradise …

A true home from home, everything has been thought of in this well presented condo! The location itself is perfect to explore the area, and the balcony views are outstanding. The owner was superb, communication excellent at all times from the day we booked. We made some lovely family memories here and hope to return one day - 💗

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

We have been visiting Isla Del Sol since 1991 and our most recent visit could not have been more enjoyable. The condo was amazing beautifully decorated and well equipped. We are looking to re-book for next year already.

Beautiful setting. Beautiful condo. Have rented in that area for more than a dozen years and this was the nicest condo we ever rented. Actually had the chance to meet up with the owners and they were very accommodating. Everything was first class. Highly recommended.

For a Florida vacation the Isla condo we stayed at this March was as good as it gets from every aspect. The amenities and the view from the condo were exceptional. In general what the area offers is great. We've stayed at Isla for the month of March the last 10 years but this particular unit made this year's trip the very best. Already looking forward to next year.

Wonderful Condo

This is a wonderful condo. We previously stayed here in 2019 and loved it. We would have been back sooner if not for the pandemic. It was just as good this time and we all had a terrific holiday. We've been coming to Isla Del Sol for over 20 years, and this is undoubtably the best condo we've stayed in. The condo is wonderfully equipped, and the beds are so comfortable that we all slept really well. The balcony furniture has been further improved since we were last here and it was a pleasure eating breakfast there, watching the dolphins and manatees swim by. Joy and Sol are great hosts, and we are looking forward to booking again for next year.

Isla Del Sol Vacation

We have stayed in a number of condos on Isla Del Sol each summer for the last 20 years and this was definitely the best condo we have stayed in. It is well located overlooking Boca Ciega bay and it was a pleasure eating our breakfast on the balcony, watching the dolphins and pelicans. We even saw a couple of manatees. The refitted kitchen and bathrooms were lovely and everyone enjoyed sleeping on the comfortable beds. The shutters on the balcony doors gave the condo a really nice vibe. Check in was easy and Joy and Sol were great hosts. Should we return again to Isla Del Sol then staying in this condo would undoubtably be our first choice.

The perfect retreat

A group of 4 of us stayed here for a retreat get away that we have once a year! Everything about this place was amazing! We loved our coffee on the balcony every morning and then sitting with a glass of wine at the end of the day and enjoying listening to the water right outside. The accommodations were perfect and we could not have asked for a better place to stay or location! So close to the beach and the pool was great also. Joy and Sol did a great job making this a welcoming place that has all the accommodations you could want and more and they were easy to contact with questions. We have already started talking about planning our trip back for next year! It was truly perfect and so relaxing! It was just what we all needed!!

Amazing stay!

We found this gem of a property when the VRBO we previously booked canceled. We looked again and this one became available. Every review had great things to say & pictures looked perfect. So we booked What was even better was the communication from the host from booking until after the stay. After an easy parking pass pick up, the host allowed us to check-in early. Everyone walked in and said “this is the nicest one we’ve rented”!Sol supplied us with an air mattress on request with clean bedding.Place was welcoming, clean, spacious, stocked with everything you needed for a great stay. Everything was in working order, new fridge, new washer/dryer, beautiful balcony view. The most comfortable beds EVER. Pool was super close to the front door, parking was right out front, everyone we ran into at the building and pool were friendly. Hoping this place is available when we book our next St. Pete trip!

Isla del Sol. February 2024

Checking categories with 5 stars doesn’t say enough. Condo was perfect. We had to book last minute as prior condo booking on madiera beach was cancelled. Everything I saw in reviews says it all. Convenient location , great views, amazing sunsets…the condo has everything, and then some. Owner readily answers questions. It was our third trip to Florida in February. It was a new location & definitely would book again for future trips. You won’t be disappointed!

a room with a view

The property is well presented but there are a couple of but's, as with all properties on Isla del Sol the second bedroom does not live up to the first in size, decorated well but a lack of drawer and hanging space as this was shared with cleaning and beach equipment. The balcony's views are wonderful, if only the table and chairs were comfortable we would have spent a lot more time enjoying the view, the condo is well equipped in all other ways with the use of a very nice swimming pool.

Gem on the water

Absolutely stunning! We can’t say enough positive things about this home. It was clean, beautifully decorated, the hosts were very helpful with any questions we had, it was super cozy & really felt like home! And the view ! That view! I’d spend my entire holiday just sitting on that balcony. The inside was just as stunning as the outside! We will definitely be coming back & would love to never leave if possible. You have to see this place to believe it’s beauty, the pictures just don’t do it justice!! 20/20!!!

An Unforgettable Family Getaway

This place was absolutely perfect! The waterfront balcony was stunning—we saw dolphins every day. The condo was super clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The community is quiet and relaxing, with lovely walking paths, a fantastic, heated pool, and it’s super close to great coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and the best beaches. Communication with the host was better than excellent—Sol is the kindest, most friendly and responsive host we have ever had the pleasure of working with. When we had a small issue with a non-working coffee maker, Sol had a replacement on the doorstep the next day! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!Helpful hints: All beach gear is provided! Chairs, umbrellas, floats, toys, a speaker and beach towels. You won't need to buy or bring anything with you. Also, don't forget your pool passes when you head to the pool. They DO check and ask you to provide them.

Beautiful view + great place + nice and helpful host = GREAT and RELAXING vacation!

We enjoyed our stay! The place has everything and anything you might need while on vacation. I booked this place because my mom was visiting for out of country and I wanted her to have the view on the water, the convenience of the pool and the beach and to feel she is on vacation, rather than just visiting me. I work long hours and I knew that will occupied her time for majority of the day. We both loved the place and I would go back without any hesitations. The owners were extremely nice, communication was always on point and in a timely matter. They had a nice present when we entered the condo and we both enjoyed it. Thank you! If I were you, I woudln’t hesitate to book this place. Check in procedures extremely easy, as well as, check out. P.S. Sol and Joy, thank you for creating such great memories for both of us. Great Isla del Sol Rental

This condo is a real gem. I was the 4th person to rent. It is tastefully furnished, clean and well equipped. Two good size bedrooms and two full baths. Both baths have glass enclosed walk-in showers. Kitchen has very nice appliances, a spacious island and is well-lit. New washer/dryer. Master BR has large walk in closet with LOTS of room. Great 4th floor view of Intra-Coastal Waterway and Pass-A-Grille. Located in restricted, quiet development with meticulously maintained property and grounds. Elevator is steps away from front door. Access to pool, Jacuzzi and exercise room. Minutes from St. Pete Beach, Ft. Desoto Park and Pass-A-Grille beaches. Owner was a pleasure to work with, lives nearby and promptly answers questions. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place for winter getaway!

My father, brother, and I enjoyed a 10 day visit at this wonderful condo. It is a quality place with nice touches to feel at home - esp the well stocked kitchen! Best by far is the view from the balcony. The sunsets were wonderful! We also saw dolphins every day and some darn big boats! The unit's entry is located close to the elevator which was nice for my brother with poor mobility. There is a trolly in the lobby to bring up your luggage as well as a grocery cart to transport your groceries. Bahia Del Sol is a beautifully landscaped area with lots of walkers enjoying the FL warmth. Sol, the owner, was great to work with and responsive when I had initial questions to get settled. He quickly arranged for a plumber to come to repair a sink problem. The condo's location is a quick drive to Fort DeSoto, Passe-A-Grille, Boyd Hill Park, and other fun areas. (Be sure to have lots of dollar bills for the various tolls.) Several Publix are close by for food. Lots of good dining, too, but we didn't really go out to eat much. We enjoyed cooking in! Highly recommend!

Excellent all around!

Property was clean & had everything we could possibly need. Beds were very comfortable. But the best part was the balcony and the view to the west! Gorgeous sunsets every night from the balcony! Dolphin every morning from the balcony! Multiple heated pools to choose from, all with hot tubs. Very safe area, but security never hassled us. Owner is great with communication, and left us a courtesy bottle of wine. Fantastic location! Bike to St. Pete Beach, or the beautiful Ft. DeSoto County Park, or just walk around the complex. This condo was awesome! We would definitely stay again.. Everything was perfect!

Spectacular View

We have been staying at this property for the last 16 years, each time we travel to St. Pete!! The location is perfect for the beach or even to drive downtown St Petersburg for dinner. There have been many upgrades throughout the years with such attention to detail. Sol and Joy are a pleasure to work with and are always available should an issue arise. We spend every moment we can sitting on the balcony overlooking the water, the views are spectacular and the sunsets amazing!!

Magnificent!

What a wonderful condo! You will be at home the minute you step inside this spacious, clean, comfortable, well-appointed condo. The furniture is new, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, the balcony affords boat traffic, birds diving for their dinner and dolphins swimming by for a serene view. The sunsets are breathtaking! The pool and club house are sparkling clean! Security for the area leaves you feeling safe in this upscale community. It is conveniently located to St. Pete Beach, restaurants, grocery stores and more. You can even have your groceries delivered if you don't want to leave. The owners, Sol and Joy, are outstanding and make sure your stay is pleasurable and provide you with whatever you may need. Communication was instant, jovial, informative and they made you feel like part of the family. You can't go wrong with this spot in paradise!

Sol made the whole booking process seamless. Communication was first class as well. The condo was lovely and the perfect size for our family of three. Kitchen was well equipped and spotless. The condo has a beautiful balcony on which to sit and watch the water traffic drift by. From the balcony I regularly spotted dolphin, manatee, baby shark and the odd turtle. Just blissful!

Beautiful Spot

Joy and I purchased this beautiful condo as a ten-year anniversary gift to each other. We love vacationing in different places and this was "the one" as soon as we walked in. And both of us love entertaining so being a VRBO and AirBnB host was a natural step to add.

Why they chose this property

THE VIEW! We have been looking at condos from St. Pete to Sarasota for two years. This one seemed to offer everything we were looking for - proximity to both the beach as well as a thriving metropolitan area. The condo has been beautifully remodeled so all we needed to add was Joy's southern personal touch. AND THE VIEW!
