We had to cancel flight because they couldn't fly into Roswell. We tried to cancel our stay in Alto several times 10 days in advance but Mr Anderson would not answer. We would not suggest anyone to rent his house.
This was a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Great views of both the Sierra Blanca and the Capitan mountains. Close access to the Spencer Theatre ( we were not able to catch a show, but took a tour - what a nice venue ) and the Rainmaker Golf Course and Clubhouse/Restaurant. Loved the home and our time there.
Modern, newer house with beautiful views near Rainmaker. It’s listed for sale; renting it in the meantime is fine, but it still needs to be guest-ready.No window coverings or shades, so the bedrooms get light early and it’s hard to sleep in. Third bedroom is a mattress on the floor.Basic toiletries and paper goods were missing or near empty (soap, shampoo, Kleenex, paper towels, sponge, dishwasher detergent - 1 pod, laundry detergent, none). Bath towels only — no hand towels or washcloths. On arrival the dishwasher was undrained and smelled when opened. It’s wired to a regular wall light switch in a bank of other switches, so it’s easy to shut off by accident.Great bones and views. Stock the basics and make it turnkey for short stays.
Thank you and yes the house was welcoming and a beautiful setting. We appreciated having the house available. We did need to wash sheets in one of the bedrooms before sleeping due to makeup on them but otherwise all good.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The location is beautiful and very private. Watching the sunsets from the terrace was our favorite part, thanks to the amazing views. Communication was excellent. A couple of small areas to improve would be the kitchen utensils and the bed in the outside room. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you so much, Ronnie!
Beautiful home.Great communication.Location was further out than I expected, but not a big inconvenience. Unbeknownst to owners I’m sure, however all the towels, wash cloths and some pillow cases were in dryer, we did not know this, so we made dash to dollar store to buy these items. Only later to find them in the dryer. Had to buy hand soap for some of the bathrooms and trash bags. Alot of the kitchen stuff was in dishwasher , so after improvising for dinner our first night and loading dishwasher, we found all the things that would have benn helpful. This is on the cleaning crew not the owners. Just thought owners should know so they can make sure these things are better for future guests.Would recommend to other to stay.

Thank you for letting me know about the dishwasher and towels…my cleaning lady said she had done everything but I guess she didn’t! I usually check the home before any renters but I was out of town when you guys were coming and couldn’t do a walkthrough. I will make sure this doesn’t happen again!
Thanks again for the understanding!
