About the host
Hosted by James Hamilton

We love to invite families and guests to escape to enjoy an extended stay in a secluded-and truly magical- setting nestled high in the Colorado Rockies.
Why they chose this property
St. Mary's Glacier is a truly unique place, a secluded alpine community nestled high in the Colorado Rockies. You're at a significant elevation, starting around 10,000 feet and rising to over 11,000 feet at the base of the snowfield. This means you're surrounded by towering peaks, often snow-capped even in summer, and the air is crisp and clean.
The dramatic mountain scenery, the crystal-clear lake, and the year-round presence of snow create an incredibly picturesque environment. It's a prime example of Colorado's stunning high country.
Because it's a bit off the beaten path, St. Mary's has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. While popular for day trips, it retains a sense of remoteness.
