Great place to stay! We went on a very rainy and wet weekend, but still enjoyed the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Its secluded enough to unplug, but still conveniently located near multiple state parks, lakes, restaurants and stores/gas stations. Totally recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! Tom was so great to deal with! It has beautiful, peaceful surroundings and we would definitely recommend it!
Cabin was small but cozy! Very quiet and relaxing away from everybody but close enough to eun to the DG if you forgot sonething or for a quick bite. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was stocked well with all the dishes or whatever you needed to prepare ypur meal. Host was quick and super friendly to deal with. Would definitely come back!
We have been here many times over the years. We always enjoy our stay. It’s the most peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We hate to leave. It has all the comforts of home. A great place to unwind and spend time with family. We can’t wait to come back again.
Was a nice place to stay quiet the lake was nearby and the river was here by me and my family had a great time Kevin was clean and everything was nice what book a trip again
Property was clean, and just perfect for a short getaway during fall break. Our son was so excited about the bunk beds and couldn’t wait to climb up on the top bunk each night. Good proximity to the state park.
The Host contacted us to see how everything was , I mentioned the TV wasn't working ,we went outside and it looked like animals had chew the coax cable in two places. I said we will survive without TV for a few days. He said no he would send someone out to fix the issue. It was Christmas Day early afternoon. Two men showed up within the hour and replaced the cable! This Host went above and beyond our expectations and got things fixed ON CHRISTMAS DAY! A
The Wi-Fi was inconsistent to the point that it was unusable, but everything else was wonderful. The cabin is just the right size, and we loved the decor.

About the host
Hosted by Tom Ferguson
Our family moved to Tulsa in 1985 from a tiny town in Kansas, where we had grown accustomed to small town living. To get away from the hustle and bustle of Tulsa, we finally found a little home away from home near Lake Tenkiller when we purchased Big Bear Cabin in 1990. As our kids got married and had kids of their own we needed more space, so in 2000 we acquired Little Bear cabin.
Why they chose this property
We love the small town feel of the Tenkiller Lake area, and there are so many things to do on the lake or off.
What makes this property unique
We all love the fact that most don't even know our cabins are there. They are not viewable from the street, so unless you know the turn-off is there they are our little secret. Nestled perfectly in the mountains, they are are close to our dock and marina, yet within driving distance of several restaurants.
