The beautiful beach of Amelia Island greets you while staying at this oceanfront, third floor condominium, from the master bedroom, living room and from a spacious balcony large enough for dining. 2 bedrooms; one with a king bed in the master bedroom, and a queen bed in the second bedroom; there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are 2 full bathrooms with a tub/shower combination in both. Free internet and cable television are provided and bed and bath linens. This unit has tile in the kitchen and living room areas with carpeted floors in the bedrooms, a washer and dryer, with a fully equipped kitchen. This complex has its own private walkway to the beach. There is a pool for your enjoyment.

ONLY ONE ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE. NO GUEST PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE.
NO LARGE VEHICLES, COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, BOATS, TRAILERS, NO GRILLING OR SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.

Uncomfortable and Dirty

If proximity to the beach is all that matters to you, you are under 25 and never minded crashing at your friends messy college apartment with the worn out dirty furnishings then this place is for you! Everyone else should look elsewhere. The building itself is quiet and the common areas are maintained in excellent condition (minus a quirky elevator), but the unit is geared to those who are only looking for a place to crash and don't care about anything else. The carpet is filthy. We wouldn't sit on the very tired and uncomfortable sofa-sleeper without first covering it with a flat sheet. The dining room furniture is so uncomfortable that it will lesson the pain of the cost of eating out. Cooking in can be an adventure as at least one eye of the stove (left front) barely works. The air conditioning and refrigerator work great, but other than those things, the view, and the proximity to the beach that is about all this place has going for it.

A very nice, basic beach condominium!

We love the condominiums at Atlantis on Amelia. This property is nice, simple, and basic. May I suggest the addition of clocks (especially a wall clock in the LR/DR area) and ceiling fans—in the bedrooms, at least. There were no DVD players as listed. The 3 new TV/cable set-ups were not (old-school) user-friendly, to say the least. The condo had nice, comfortable furnishings & a great kitchen (with all the necessary needs). But the main thing: there is a fantastic view of this beautiful beach!!!

Our Expectations Were Met

The property was as described in the listing. The unit was clean and conveniently located on the island. It had an A+ view with a balcony that afforded some really beautiful sunrises. The beach was accessed via a short bridge walk way with a pier just to the left. The rental company was very easy to work with and we were happy with our stay.
