This was by far the worst experience I've ever had renting a home for a trip. First off, we asked to check in early the manager said that was ok. The manager stopped responding when we arrived the manager of the property did not reach back out so i had to use the VRBO chat in order to get his number, after i texted him he sent the check in instructions. Fine, we go to check in, the key in the lock box doesnt work and he isnt answering as we are calling him. We get in, the floor isnt swept, there arent enough face towels and body towels, there are NO curtains on ANY of the windows so we had to use blankets and boxes in order to cover the windows because we are women and people could see in at night. Okay fine, we ask if he has WiFi and he said “ For WiFi pls use the xfinity pass connect to xfinity, if you’re a comcast customer it’s free. Owners also provide credit for up to three passes.” So that was crazy, and he only refunded 50. Oh and both the sinks in the master bathroom leak no matter how much water it could be a very little about and it leaks from the bottom. The Heat did not work because the gas was off and the Gas people came and told us. There was no shower curtain in the bottom bathroom. This was a terrible experience and i would never ever recommend this company or VRBO to anyone looking to stay in DC bite the bullet and pay more for somewhere else. Great neighborhood though. Lastly he offered a refund and refunded NOTHING.
