This isn’t just an Airbnb, this is our special home that we occasionally rent out. We are excited that you’re interested in being our guests. We love living here because it’s half a block from the farmers market, two blocks to downtown, right next to several parks, and hundreds of miles of trails are literally at your doorstep.
Here are our favorite day trips and other stuff to do right from the condo:
Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim): Approximately 80 miles (1 hour 30 minutes) northwest of Flagstaff. Witness one of the world's most breathtaking natural wonders, a vast and colorful chasm carved by the Colorado River.
Sedona (Red Rocks): Approximately 30 miles (45 minutes to 1 hour) south of Flagstaff. Explore stunning red rock formations, art galleries, and spiritual vortexes, offering numerous hiking and outdoor activities. If you drive down the oak creek canyon you can stop at slide rock on the way down.
Wupatki National Monument: Approximately 34 miles (45 minutes to 1 hour) north of Flagstaff. Discover ancient pueblos and ruins of the Sinagua and Ancestral Puebloan people, showcasing a rich cultural history.
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument: Approximately 14 miles (30 minutes) north of Flagstaff. Hike around a young, cinder cone volcano with striking red and black slopes, a result of an eruption around 1085 AD.
Walnut Canyon National Monument: Approximately 7.5 miles (15 minutes) east of Flagstaff. Explore ancient cliff dwellings built into the limestone cliffs of a picturesque canyon. Awesome hiking and trail running in this area.
Lowell Observatory: Approximately 3 miles (10 minutes) from downtown Flagstaff. Delve into astronomical discoveries, including the finding of Pluto, and enjoy stargazing opportunities.
Meteor Crater Natural Landmark: Approximately 37 miles (40 minutes) east of Flagstaff. Visit the incredibly well-preserved impact site of a meteor that struck the Earth over 50,000 years ago.
Arizona Snowbowl: Approximately 14 miles (25-30 minutes) northwest of Flagstaff. Enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and scenic gondola rides with panoramic views in the summer. Killer trail running up here too. Don't miss Humfreys peak and Lockett Meadow if you are ready for a long day on the trails.
Museum of Northern Arizona: Located within Flagstaff. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural and natural history of the Colorado Plateau through diverse exhibits.
Historic Downtown Flagstaff & Railroad District: Located in the heart of Flagstaff. Stroll through charming streets filled with historic architecture, unique shops, restaurants, and breweries. Walk right from the house!
It's a self check-in process. You will receive a door code with your check-in instructions.
Upstairs, we have a full bathroom with tub. Queen bed with balcony and King bedroom. Downstairs you have a great little living room with fully stocked kitchen, back lanai and second bathroom.
